If she also has VistaMail in addition to Outlook (which is a part of Office) she can use HTML and put music in her e-mails. But if she's using Outlook, I believe she must use plain text only.

Sorry for the delay. Cablevision is my internet carrier - and I access the internet through Optimum (have phone, tv and on line service with Optimum. When I send and receive emails my address would be: .....@optonline.net. I received an email with an attachment which I opened and I then in turn sent it to Microsoft Word to make some changes - which I did - but then couldn't send it back to my email address and/or to the person who sent it to me Thanks.

My issues mainly have to do with adding contacts in the contacts section of Window Mail and composing emails using saved email addresses. 1) In OE, when I'm composing an email to someone, I can just type the first two letters of the receipient's name or email address, and the full address would pop up in the "TO" area. In Windows Mail, I can do this if I compose emails to the same people all the time, but if I don't compose an email to the same person for a week or so, it no longer pops up. I have to search for their address - it doesn't pop up when entering the first 2 letters. This is a pain in the a** especially when I have hundreds of business contacts and can be very time consuming when sending the same email to numerous people. 2) I have folders for all my "types" of subcontractors. I can't drag and drop entries from one category to another. In other words, if I want to move one of them to a different category, I can't. I have to retype all the info in the contacts section. This is a huge problem. In Express, I could drag and drop easily. 3) Another problem is that continually, when I enter a new contact and all their info, then hit "ok" to accept it and add to the list of other contacts, it doesn't show up. I've had to enter the same info 2 or 3 times before it finally appears where it should. This is a huge problem because I keep long notes on all my subcontractors for reference. This was not an issue with Express. These are tbe 3 main issues I can think of right now.

Google used to have a utility to sync Outlook to Gmail mail, calendar, contacts, etc (and then Google can be connected to Apple devices) but it pulled the plug a few years ago. When it did so, I stopped using Outlook, it didn't really add value for me. When using an internet connected PC, web access doesn't provide a significantly different user experience than using a local program anyway. This article might provide useful information. If I were you, I'd keep it simple to avoid problems. Can you get by with having your calendar on your PC and phone? You can always manually "sync" any two systems that offer export and import functions but I don't know if doing that regularly could result in duplication of entries. I guess you'd have to try it and see.
