accessing instagram

For the last week have been unable to download instagram pictures on twitter. Haven't changed settings but did defrag computer. Have Internet explorer and Windows XP. Sometimes states Page not found or just doesn't download after repeated attempts. Any help appreciated.

Delete your browsing history. When offered allow the utility to remove everything. Try again. Even better would be to download CCleaner and use it at its default settings.

You may have to log-in to certain sites (not re-register) as preference cookies may be deleted.

Have you tried an alternate browser?

I tried the CCleaner however still not able to access. I don't post the pictures just like to look at my out of state granddaughter's pictures.

Thanks for trying. I am not very computer savy so will probably have to take it somewhere.

I ditto what Tina Marie said. I use instagram a lot and very much enjoy it. I follow home designers, fashion and skin care/make up people. I find a lot of products I want to purchase that way. It's good and bad. I often find things I need that way, but I also probably purchase way more clothing than I need because of instagram. On the other hand, I find out about sales that I probably would not otherwise know about. I've pretty much stopped scrolling and just watch stories of the limited set of people I follow. There are links to the products in the stories and I find that very helpful. Pinterest, on the other hand, has never made sense to me. I've tried it (because my daughter told me to) and I just cannot see the appeal.

But, I must be missing something. I have two different Instagram accounts but I don't know how to switch back and forth without logging out. When I open "instagram.com" (same browser, Debby) I am immediately connected to the account that I most recently logged in. I don't know how to open up the other one without logging out. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Instead of taking it somewhere and having to pay money why not have your granddaughter email you the photos? That way they are permanently on your computer.

Having no ideas about Instagram I read up a bit and it seems you need to install some software to download the pics. did you at some point download and install any software for this?
