The field tile is just a basic manufactured white tile that is made to look handmade but is not. The glass tiles are from oceanside tile. You can see them online by going to www.glasstile.com. The collection is Tessera and the blend is called sandstone. The glass tiles in the shower are the same blend but are actually made up of little triangles and rectangles. I think the collection is called Facets and the deisgn is called Marquise.

Thanks for all of the kind words! The countertop material is honed Creme Marfil marble. Not sure I spelled it right but it's close. Same thing on the tub surround and on the floor.

The mirrors were cutom fitted for the space. We had our contractor build out the trim for the mirrors to match what's around the door and windows.

I really love your beautiful bathroom! We're about to embark on a master bath renovation, and are considering a tub/ shower arrangment very similar to yours. We've been a little concerned about having enough room to step into the tub with the shower walls blocking part of the length of the tub, but your layout seems to work just fine!

Would you please share the dimensions of your shower when you have a moment, as well as the width of the "step in" space you have for your tub? This might help me do a "reality check" to determine if we want to change the size of the shower, or narrow it a bit to provide wider access for stepping into the tub. If we have to go *too* narrow, the shower may not work.

We have one of those behemoth corner tubs in the room now, abutting the shower, that just eats up the room. We're not big bath takers, but still think we need a tub for resale purposes. So a possible solution is to go smaller, with a configuration similar to yours.

The shower is 5.5 feet long by 3 feet deep. The tub "box" is 6 feet long so the step in to the tub is 3 feet long. That includes the marble surround so the area to actually step into the tub is even smaller (like 2.5 feet). It works out really well. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough room but it's plenty. We don't take a lot of baths either so I opted for a very narrow tub from Sunrise Specialty. It's about 26 inches wide and 60 inches long (I think). It's a beautiful cast iron tub. I love it. The shower has plenty of room and my hubby is a big guy. He was worried that 3 feet deep was not going to give him enough elbow room but he is very happy with the outcome. Best of luck to you. I know how difficult it can be to configure a space to fit everything that you want!

That is absolutely lovely. I adore that tub deck also. I had anticipated putting in a drop-in tub and doing a tub-deck, but went with an alcove instead.

I had a contractor here doing some of the cement board installation and underlayment and a new sub floor. I've used him before and he's very reasonable on rates, since he lives right around the corner. However, after talking with him at length, I just felt like the tub deck was going to be beyond his capability -- and most certainly beyond mine. Thus I went with an alcove style. I am sooo jealous of that pretty tub deck though.

what type faucets on tub deck? I am doing a very similar project, and curious to the faucets set you chose...I was always under the impression you needed a diverter to have a handshower on the tub deck,to switch from faucet to handshower?

The faucets are from the Rohl Country line. I don't have the exact model number but you'd be able to find it online. There is a little nob at the back of the faucet head that you can pull so that the water comes out of the hand-held.

Next question, lol...the tub deck surround is that a tile? or slab? How about the seat in shower? We are considering suing a slab for the tub deck and seat, to match the vanity top...What did you use for the vanity top? a marble slab? thanks in advance

The vanity, tub deck and shower seat are all marble slabs. The marble is called Creme Marfil. The tub deck and seat are made up of 5 slab pieces. 2 for the front and back of the tub, 2 for the sides of the tub, and one for the seat. I was worried about the seams but it looks fine.
