So Hubby did indeed make it home (though late). We spent a good deal of yesterday cleaning and organizing but we still have a lot to do. With the chaos our life has been for the past several months cleaning (other than the basics) has been a very low priority. CT scan revealed that the mass in her shoulder is non-homogenous, there is definitely infection and the other parts could be abscess, live tumor and/or dead tumor cells. Plan is to do a CT-guided needle biopsy of all the different masses today. She should also get her stomach tube. The battles raging in her body have taken a toll on her in many ways. Probably the most difficult one right now is that she is easily confused and agitated and has no short-term memory. We have to explain to her multiple times where she is and why she's there and what is happening. They put her on oxygen last night (she has developed apnea and shallow breathing due in large part to the meds) and you could see it was really helping her but she kept wanting to take the cannula off. Hubby is at the hospital now hoping to catch up with the oncologist. I suspect he's going to be gone all day. We're still nowhere near ready. Adding to the stress, we came home some time after 11 pm (having spent the evening at the hospital) to discover the newly-vacuumed living room full of garbage and three very dirty and guily chihuahuas. My fault - I had left the (nearly full) garbage can where they could get at it. With a ham bone and other tasties in there it was just too tempting. So we spent our evening scrubbing floors and puppies. At least we hadn't shampooed the carpet yet.

Hello all. Hope you all are fine now.. I had same problem in my left parotid gland 3 years ago...the story starts here.. I am living in dry and hot area..in the month of fasting (Islamic month of Ramadhan) we had 47, 48 degree temprature during summers....and i was performing fast (till 30 days).. l felt savere ear pain and blockage with 80% left ear hear loss after taking bath, and in the same time i was feeling parotid swelling...ENT told me happend because of your ear block and sent me to wash my left ear... They washed my ear and showed me some stones and i recovered from my ear pain and hearing problem... But my parotid was still swelled..different GP.s and ENT.s tried to fix my parotid with different antibiotics even lungs medicines but i did not feel any relax...in last ENT specialist advised me to take CT scan amd i scared and did not visit ENT again ..i found some massage therapy after googling...i performed daily basis massage my self...drinked lot of water...eat lot of sour candies and applied hot water presses..and with in 2 months swelling cured 100% . Did not come back till 3 years..But 5 days ago when i was out all the day during 45 degree centigrade temp and my car AC was jammed and stoped ... Returned to home and slept. Next morning my ear lobule swelled and i am feeling pressure behind my ear lobule..with some tenderness and itchy feeling. I am scared again...i dont wanna go to see Gps ENTs again... Please advise me...what is this..is this realy related with ear infaction or related with dehydration or extremely Dry and Hot weather?

Thanks for the prompt response. The system was quoted by a local company in Scottsdale. Actually my neighboor is a contractor and this is the guy he uses (High Peaks Water Services). The warranty is 1 yr LABOR through High Peaks Water Services. His recommendation was based off of what I told him over the phone: just under 3000 square feet, 2 adults and two children, 4 bed, 3 bath. None of the companies I've contacted offered to come and test the water to determine the right system. I did not know about this until finding this site. Is this absolutley a must? Should I be weary of any company that does not offer this? Thanks again for your insight! Bill P.S.
