ravencajun: I couldn't find my way thru winmail-general tab-play sound, but I also didn't try very hard because I prefer not to have the sound. So I took a look at adding a tray icon and wow, those directions look like more than I want to tackle! I think all this is trying to tell me that I am trying to be overly lazy, so maybe I'll just do those extra couple of clicks to see if there's any new mail. It's not like I'm walking out to our real mailbox several times a day to see if the postman came! Thanks much!

Might try while WLM is open to press F1 key fwiw.. I have username@Hotmail.com If I send mail to my username@Live.com it doesnt get delivered. So I would have to open a brand new account to have the same address & then would have two unique email accounts at two different web address's.

Hi there, I just wanted to respond to this post since I emailed someone that didn't necessarily have their email address on gardenweb. Sometimes when I search for certain things, like "white cabinets," a ton of posts with pictures of kitchens that do not necessarily appear in finished kitchens blog show up. Many times these are pictures off of photobucket. In one particular instance, I went back to find those photobucket pictures to show my husband, and I simply searched in google "GW's screen name kitchen" His or her email came up on google, and I emailed them asking if they minded sharing where they got their cabinets since they are local to Chicago, where I live. I would not be offended if someone emailed me asking me that, and so I didn't think anyone else would be offended either. Anyway, I just wanted to share how it is I came upon getting someone's email...actually quite unintendedly. hth, Pebbles81

You can also do this: If you just want the picture on your computer, follow these steps: -Right click on the picture -From the menu that pops up choose "Save image as..." -A window titles Save Image pops up. Navigate through to where you'd like the photo to go. (Desktop is often best , just for the fact that the photo is easy to find once copied to your computer. From there you can just click and drag to the folder you want it in.) Also rename the photo at this time if you'd like. -Click Save. To email the photo, you should see somewhere on your email page a place where you can add a file to send. Choose to do that, then in the window that comes up choose the photo from your desktop.
