Assuming you have the music and pictures already on the computer and are using Outlook Express try this.

Create a new email, click in the body area, then click Format/Background/Sound and browse to the piece of music you want. For the picture, if you want it as a background go Format/Background/Picture and browse to the desired pic.

If you want the pictures inserted rather than as a background go Insert/Picture and browse. This way you can add numerous pictures or photos.

A word of caution, beware of large photos or music files if you know the recipient is on dialup.

Make sure you have reduced the file size of the photo - or it will show up HUGE to the recipient. To do this - Got o MY PICTURES and click on the picture (if you want mulitple pictures, hold down the control key while selecting the pictures.) Right click and select SEND TO, then MAIL RECIPIENT. It will ask if you want to MAKE PICTURES SMALLER - select yes. Then it will open up an email to send. You can add the music as owbist direct. (I am also giving directions for Outlook Express, since you didn't say what you are using)

Also, like obwist said, - don't send to your dialup friends. I am on dialup and hate getting these!

Yes we use Outlook Express, we are on DSL thru
Verizon.....I will try your directions and see what happens

Something is not working right. I can set up my e-mail
with sound and a picture or two inserted. I send to DD or DS and they do not get music with the picture. I can go back into my e-mail Sent, pull it up and there is music and pic, just the way I want it to go thru.
They are not getting the music. They are both on DSL.

The other night I set an e-mail up from DD's computer, with
picture and music, sent it to our home e-mail address, all
I got was pic, no music. After sending I went into her
Sent e-mails, pull the e-mail up and I had pic and music.

Why is the music not going thru?

My e-mails were being sent Outlook Express thru our
Verizon address. Thru Verizon we also have MSN Premium,
with an MSN address. On MSN Premium I cannot set an e-mail up with pic and music as there is no toolbar with Format or Insert it offers just only an Attachment icon. I can send the music and pic as attachments, which both have to be
clicked onto to see and hear. That is not the way I want
them to go.

I am sure there is something I am missing to do...Been trying for 3 days now.

I will appreciate any suggestions and advice.
I do remember dial up connections and do not send to them,
it has been not that long ago I had dial up too. Thank You!!
