Good luck but I don't think you will find a way. I remember reading about some nations being unable to get things removed.

In Google Earth under "Street View Help" you
should get a window that allows you to report inappropriate images....fill it out and submit.
If your house is viewable from public property, or air space, there is no "reasonable expectation of privacey" for the exterior of your house. It's up for grabs for anyone with a camera.

I tell you if you ever decide to sell your home you would be very sorry you had it removed because it is a real aid in real estate these days, you are able to get a real look at a property you are considering buying. Having your house removed would be cause for concern on the part of anyone considering buying it. My home is on all the earth views which of course there are many many not just Google, and I am even viewable in the pool, of course just a blur but I know, anyone else would not know, it could just be a pool float.
Getting it off google earth has no effect on the many other earth views which are used in many search engines, so trying to get it off all of them would be pretty much impossible.

How do you get it to see your backyard and all the details. I have just a square that shows the approx. place my house is, but no details where I can actually pick out my house. Am I not doing something?

Lyban your situation seems similar to mine, my home is a blur. We are not living in a target area.

Look around a large city like Toronto and the detail is great whereas here on the Niagara peninsula we are nothing to get excited about.

Do you know there seems little need to have Google earth installed these days? Try maps.google.com then click on Satellite view for the same stuff without your hard drive being clogged with the program.

have you tried www.zillow.com you can look up your home on there and find out the info about it.

I do use the google maps version. I have been helping someone look at real estate and it sure is a helpful tool to be able to actually view the property. And in many areas they have the little man that pops up and you can move him around and see all around in every direction, very cool the street view.
There are now online games actually similar to a scavenger hunt where you have to use street view to find a list of items, amazing the things you can find.

Hey Ravercajun, I was going to comment on that because a rich person in the US did get his home removed from that. But he lived on a private road and proved they had to trespass to get that shot.

I should find a US city and see if I can do that little trick LOL.
