Sorry, dumb question.

I have Seven Home Premium and I use Windows Live mail. I need to copy my contacts because I desperately need my computer debugged and I fear I may lost the contacts. How do I copy all the entries and their information and print it out? Because I have been told so often that I should dump MS Live Mail and MS IE I plan to force myself to learn Google Chrome and G Mail. I am 70 and very computer dyslexic, so I have to ask.

I just checked mine and I think I found what you need, not sure. Open your email and click on contacts then home. You will find export there. Use the down arrows. I think you would select comma something values.

No questions are dumb.

EmmaR---Thank you, so much! I do annoy a lot of computer savvy people and I really can't learn and retain computer related things normally. I have 2 MS degrees with high honors but I remain "computerdyslexic." You are very kind!

If the tops have died down, the bulbs won't grow any bigger, as they no longer have any leafy green photosynthetic parts to feed the bulbs. Leaving them in the ground just leaves them open to nematode or other insect attack. I grow my onions from seeds that I start under growlights around March 1, then transplant into the garden around May 15. Transplants produce larger onions, but they ripen later (mine are still standing and green right now). If you started yours from those green-onion sets that are sold widely in the spring, they will ripen much sooner but will tend to be smaller.

Next time you find one, check to see if it has, on its back, eggs the size and color of a grain of rice. Often times it will have several. If it does, and you can stand to do so, leave it be for a few days. That is the egg of a wasp. The egg hatches and then the larvae of the wasp devours the worm. Doing it this way ensure that the beneficial wasp lives to kill the next worm you miss.

Hold the phone... she asked if she could direct vent a wood stove or wood fireplace, and the answer is absolutly not. The only things that can be vented with a horizontal termination cap is direct vent gas. Wood appliances need to be vented with the termination cap 2 feet above anything with in 10 horizontal feet of the cap. In other words, if you chimney was coming out of the roof 5' from the peak, it would need to be 2 foot above the peak.

Most self-rising flours sold in the south have the salt. I find some our here in the west don't. Personally, I prefer it with the salt, but that's probably because it's what I grew up on. And that was not a dumb question at all! (Actually, the only two dumb questions I've ever heard were my sister asking me once "Where do you keep your ice?" and once at the restaurant when a cook had stuck a knife all the way into his hand, one of the managers asked, "Are you hurt?" THOSE were dumb questions. LOL!)

When I first started using a computer my sis gave me some good tips, the most important being use a notebook to write down things you have learned or changed. It was invaluable to me and after a time I didn't need it anymore. Now I find I need it again because of aging. I also save instructions in a folder on my computer named PC Tips and that helps, especially with Firefox changes. I also copy and paste useful tips from the internet in it.

I did not like Window Live Mail when I saw that huge tool bar on the top. I looked closely at all the items on top and discovered the quick access bar and learn to drag and drop items I use then minimize the ribbon (big tool bar). It now looks like this.
