Too Good to be True Subzero Appliance Pricing?

So I have had 2 quotes for a 30' bottom freezer Subzero - last year's model.

The pricing I have got has been from $6695 - $7000; about a $1000 discount from this year's model.

Our new contractor (who does a TON of work in our neighborhood) said he would check with his appliance people to see what price he could get, and the appliance guy came back at $4700!!

That's almost $2000 less than my best quote. I'm concerned as I had been told that Subzero doesn't allow their product to be discounted much. So is this great pricing possible?

I want to jump on it, but now I'm wondering if it's a bit too good to be true. Thoughts? Has anyone got a deep discount on a Subzero product?

True - no discounts on new merch.

Depends on EXACTLY what it is. If by last years model they mean a current unit that had a build date of 2008, then yes, it most likely is too good TBT.

If , on the other hand they simply mean a unit from the previous generation which stopped being produced last year then It is a really good and fair price.............maybe. The 6xx generation is about 15 years old and you could be getting a display model or simply a new in the carton from someones inventory that was built in 2007 or 1997.

If it's new in the box , with full warranty , you'll not likely do better.

We used them and got GREAT prices on Jado (the Glance lav. faucet and another tub faucet) and Hansgrohe (kitchen faucet). The products arrived in original packaging from the manufacturer very quickly in perfect condition. I recommend the website! But you have to act quickly when you see the item you like because I've seen stuff fall off their website for a while. Also, sometimes you have to search their website pretty hard to find an item---they don't carry everything by each company and sometimes the way they list the item is a little off and it is hard to find via the search function.

Pricing for RELIABILT doors...too good to be true?

I just bought my 2nd Reliabilt barn door. The first one was easy to install with quality installation materials. Well the 2nd one NOT SO MUCH. What a disappointment. The “plugs” for where there are no studs were horrible. They fell apart, I promise it was professionally installed. There was no board for bracket (it was there for the first door) it turns out it IS it is important. Between purchasing new “plugs” PLUS A BOARD (We chose oak for durability) it was an additional $50+. I am terribly disappointed. I feel you probably don’t really care, however, I am sharing my disappointment. I will not tell my friends to use your product. BTW, this might be the reason Lowe’s has not been selling them🤷‍♀️, just saying. Donna Hammond

If you're talking about the HBL8451UC, it's discontinued, apparently replaced by the HBL8453UC. If it meets your needs, get it though the well-regarded LG LWS3063ST is less.
