Rt click on the desktop. Click on "new". Click on Folder. A new folder will pop up on the desktop. Give it a name, then you can drag and drop each shortcut into it and when you're done, that one folder will contain all the games. Test one first to be sure all goes well in the move.

Easy, right click anywhere on the desktop, New/Folder.
You can name it anything you want.
Then drag all your desktop icons inside the folder.
Then if you right click the folder, click properties/ customize/ Change icon, you can find an icon to use instead of just the default folder look.
This is all I have on my desktop.

I basically did the same thing, but took it one step furtherÂI created a folder in my C drive, named it "shortcuts" (or whatever you choose) then created sub folders in that folder and properly name them. Then, I right clicked on the lower toolbar and selected "toolbars" then "new toolbar" and browsed for my "shortcuts" folder and selected it. The end result is a very organized system. Here is my example. You could have a folder named "games" that would show small icons, like in the start menu.

If you right click on the bottom taskbar, click 'Toolbars', click 'Desktop' it creates something similar to the quick launch bar but near the clock where Maxter has set the 'Shortcuts' folder. Then right click on an open spot on the desktop, click 'Arrange icons by...' and click on 'Show desktop icons' to remove them from the desktop. This can be reversed just as easily. Now all you need to do is click the 2 chevrons >> and the desktop icons appear above.
