They're both battery operated, right? I'm sorry - I have no experience with automatic feeders - so can't really recommend one over the other. If you wind up just having a human do the feeding, perhaps just request an every other day - or even every third day feeding. Fish would be fine without a couple of days of feeding. Last time I went away, my friends who were taking care of things offered to come twice a day to feed. But I knew that wouldn't be necessary - I was afraid of my fish being overfed as well. Plus I premeasured out the tanks daily feeding - especially since all my tanks are different sizes and have different fish populations. I just used small snack sized zip bags, measured out the daily portion and instructed my friends to feed ONLY that measured amount ONCE a day. That prevented any overfeeding of the fish.

New comment field will show up in description field in Hybridizing section eg. difficlt pod parent or throws high bud count etc. You will now know this when you are planning your crosses. Assign tag name and wire color specific to each plant, this information will be retained in your hybridizing section. Purchased from section do not have to input duplicate information - new find button. Hybridizing section - can change column width and loction for the Pollination cross panning and Hybridized seedlings screen. Pollination report with a notes field eg. made cross 5 times, had rain at night etc. Harvest Report. Status field where you can keep track of aborted Pods etc.

You last post suggests distance is causing a problem. Try Teamviewer, it is brilliant. You click to 'Start full version' and you daughter clicks 'Join a session'. She will then give you 3 sets of 3 numbers to punch in, you then click 'Connect to partner' and she gives you a 4 digit password. Once connected you have her screen on your computer and total control of her mouse and keyboard movements. You can also use your own computer if you need to search for stuff while working on the other confuser. She can also use her mouse and keyboard if needed. You can also reboot her computer and re-connect automatically. You cannot re-connect once both of you have broken the connection, this is her security. I use Skype to talk with the person whose computer I am working on so they are kept up to date on where and what I am doing. Any VOIP program will do that of course. It's not "everyone" it's the manufacturers. Not for anything but if you live in a rural area where the crime rate is low, then yeah what's the rush to fix it? not to mention that if someone really wanted to break in all they need to do is break a small pane of glass and reach in and unlock the door. No doubt rolling codes offer better security and it makes sense to improve technology on new units, but some people have automatic openers just for the convenience of having a self-opening/closing door. Again, depends where you live, but I'd wager that not everyone that has a manual door locks it everytime they close the door. It's much easier to walk over and open it and not have to dig for a key. My point is I would not necessarily advice everyone with a dip switch based opener that they've used for decades without incident to run out and upgrade the logic board and remote on it for security reasons. You want to upgrade to newer technology then replace the entire unit.
