event planner help

Can anyone help me? I was putting an item into my event planner(Halmark card program) and must ? have clicked something-anyway now I get this message:

runtime error!

Programs:C/SIERRA/card studio/Planner.exe

Abnormal program termination

OK

Nothing happens-I can't get into my event planner. Someone tried to remove and reinstall(I don't know how) but the message still comes up and the event planner doesn't open.

Will I lose all my notes, addresses etc if I remove it?

As you can tell I am not very computer savvy and you people seem to be very much so. I sure would appreciate any suggestions.

Is this just for planning? or for cooking and decorating as well? Figure out how much time it will take you and since this is your first gig, gharge about $15 an hour. So would you just arrange the place, get the DJ, find the caterer, decide on the menu, decide on decorations and find someone to do them, rent the tables and linens, send invitations and keep track of how many reply, see about parking and security, hire the photographer and pick up the pictures later....or would you just see to the arrangements that day? Are you going to actually remove the existing drywall? If so, after the drywall is removed, the electrician will install the lighting cans (housing). Then drywall. Then paint. Then the lighting trim. Installing the trim is easy, so you may be able to do it yourself. Otherwise, the electrician will have to come back. If you do it yourself, make sure the electrician doesn't charge you for the return trip. The other option is to leave the existing drywall intact and use remodel lighting cans. These can be installed with just a circle cut in the existing drywall. In that case, the electrician should be able to handle everything except for patching and painting the ceiling.

hosenemesis, Yes, I think the alcove is where previous renters have placed a table and chairs. If my son moved the fridge there, I am thinking there would still be room for a table to the side of the fridge. (Fridge is small, and I didn't mention that for some reason the original owner built in a partial bulkhead there(about the width of a fridge), so very low, no room for a 'normal height' fridge. Present one is 60" high, that's all that would fit in there-wall is open to under stairs area in basement, so actually could be changed/raised. But don't think it is worth the effort/expense.)So, probably should have mentioned that previously, duh! ie, if there was a chair there, you would have to stoop under ceiling to get out. No, I wouldn't move a table to the end under the window. Was thinking of extending counter around. That would interfere with opening cupboard doors. Thought it would be ideal place then for Microwave, toaster oven, various appliances that daughter/potential renters would use in lieu of actual stove/oven! (though there is a full-sized oven/stove there). So, question to those of you who can visualize better than me. If, he went with wrapping the counter around under the window, what would you do with uppers between the two windows? (Maybe eliminate those altogether?) As you can see, ceilings are low in the apartment, bulkhead across where stove is. Another bulkhead is even lower in alcove just about the size of a small fridge...Other window is just to the right of the fridge. (this pic was taken as they were gutting kitchen)

Thanks for the PSA, Zalco/bring back Sophie. Last year, I ordered online one of the smallest Stop the Bleed tourniquet kits (just one tourniquet), and I always keep it hung from the inside doorhandle of the passenger seat just behind my driver seat. (I use a magnetic breakaway hanger so it's truly grab and go.) I could use the kit to assist someone in an emergency, or someone else could use it to assist me if I were conscious enough to tell them. It seems as if emergency events have been increasing in recent years, so I'm very glad to know it's always there and instantly available, no digging for the first aid kit, and then digging further inside the kit after it's located. If you need a tourniquet, literally seconds count in the outcome for the patient. They also make excellent, thoughtful gifts to anyone you may know who takes blood thinners. I usually give them in pairs in that situation, one for home, and one for the vehicle. Thanks again for the post to let others know about the Stop the Bleed project.

I give up, all I get for your website is a place for games.
You can try a general clean up of your computer.
You should be uaing Ad-Aware, AntiVirus and a Firewall.
Some use Spybot and Ccleaner.
CCleaner does the same as below except for Defragmenter.

On windows XP I use this method to clean up my computer.
To clean out unwanted files.

Start - Control Panel - Internet Options open -
Delete cookies, Delete files (select all off-line content) - Clear History. Click OK to Exit.

Then go to Start - Run - Enter %temp% - Click OK - Click Edit - Click Select All - Delete.

Start - Run-
Enter - C:\windows\temp - OK - and select everything except temporary internet files, cookies and history folders and delete them.

Then Restart your computer.

Then use the Defragmenter.
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Defragmenter - Analyze and Defragment

Grams33, when your friends come to help please have them explain while you do the actual work. This way you will learn far more than if they do it. If they do it will you watch their head, their fingers or the screen? Doing is learning with computers. good luck with it.
