We are installing a Florida tile in our shower. Cocca brown, with cream, white and beige colors. The vanity top will also be tiled. So it is not like I can match it to a granite vanity top. (Granite & Marble way too expensive. 10' vanity. My DH built the shower unit, and the threshold lip is wider then standard. It measures 5 1/2" as it sits. So when the tile is installed under edge in-front and behind the threshold area the 6" marble threshold would be too narrow. All of the thresholds I have seen are 6" wide. I need a 7" I think? It could be granite or a beige marble I have seen a beige marble that looked good, but flooring people tell me they don't come any larger then 6" wide. Does anyone have any advise or used a threshold that I could buy that would be 7"? And before anyone suggests using the tile there, DH says absolutely not because of the drip. Thanks for any help. My DH is driving me crazy.
