Toto toilet question
Comments (1)i don't find it to be very much louder than a more traditional toilet, and it's very quick quieting down. it may help if you close the lid first. it fills up much more quickly (i have the eco-drake) which is a bonus at night....See MoreToto toilet questions
Comments (1)I own two Drake's with the E200 washlets. Here's the answers to your questions: 1. What is an insulated tank? An insulated tank is lined along the inside of the tank to prevent condensation in parts of the country that tank 'sweating' is common. Insulated tanks can also be popular in outdoor, commercial installations. Insulated tanks are offered as options for the TOTO Drake and the TOTO Carusoe. Yeah you'd want it, unless you don't mind the condensation. 2. What is a boltdown lid It is to keep the lid to the tank of the toilet locked down. Typically you would see these in public toilets to prevent vandalism of either the tank or the lid covering the tank. No I don't think you'd want that, unless you've got infants or this is going to be a toilet used in an area frequented by the public. Here is a link that might be useful: toilet info...See MoreColor check: Toto cotton white and Jacuzzi epress white?
Comments (1)I can't answer your question except to say that I know that Toto will send you color samples. Call their 800 number, and you'll have the sample in about a week. If you can't also get a sample from Jacuzzi, then take the Toto sample to the store that is displaying Jacuzzi to compare. I would also advise you to request a sample from Toto of their other white "Colonial White". The Ultramax is offered in both Colonial White and Cotton White. The Cotton White is a white-white, while the Colonial White has a beige tone to it, although it is NOT beige....See MoreToto toilets, about to purchase
Comments (10)I recently bought two Toto toilets, but they were one-piece units and came with everything in the box (including the seat), so I'm not certain about the Aquias. I'd suggest calling and talking to a knowledgeable representative at a merchant that sells plenty of Toto toilets, to try to make sure you get all the answers you need. If it helps, the company I used was HM Wallace in Georgia, which does business online as PerformanceToilets.com, NationalBuilderSupply.com and FaucetWarehouse.com among others. (This web page gives some background info on the company.) Unlike some online sites, this is not an online-only storefront; it's a large brick-and-mortar company which has developed online sites with good pricing and knowledgeable sales staff. They get weekly truckload shipments from Toto, so if they don't already have the toilets you want in stock, they'll likely have them within a week. (A local Toto dealer I spoke with quoted 3-4 weeks because they wait to aggregate several orders.) HM Wallace also ships toilets, free, using UPS and FedEx; many other companies use freight lines and charge for delivery. -- Eric...See Morespiffy6241
