Shaun, Happy Valentine's Day to you too! This would have been my parents 50th wedding anniversary, so a bit sad. I awoke to find a down pillow with a Happy Valentine's Day note attached from DW. We went to a fancy hotel last month and it's the first time I slept on a down pillow....I was hooked! I felt like a king. And next to the pillow was a 1.00 off coupon for Lindel's truffles LOL. She sure knows how to drop a hint and save a buck at the same time! Little does she know I already got her the Godiva truffles yesterday, but she doesn't get them until after work at 2pm.

Other than that, that is the exciting day in store for us!

p.s. The Newlywed game should be hysterical! We played it a few times on cruise ships and somebody..always..always answers "Trojan" to the question "What is your spouses favorite condiment?". I kid you not. It happened on 2 different cruises we were on. These people were not too swift.

Actually no big plans here. For years Tim and I have just exchanged cards on Valentine's Day. No gifts.
I usually make a romantic dinner, the restaurants are just too crowded.

I have a couple of lobster tails and a nice steak for us to split. So surf-n-turf tonight. No plans for the day as he just got called in to work!

We are going to our new favorite Italian tonight, DD choice as it is her birthday as well. I was a real slacker this year for VD day and DD's birthday, dr. had me in bed for 4 days this week...grrrrr, no virtual dinner here or actually everything I would cook would be virtual this week.

Tonight we are having a quiet dinner home, just the two of us and lots of garlic! LOL There will be some fireplace time and some hot tub time, and a nice meal. Pretty much what we do every VD day.

We have gone out for a dinner a few times but it is just too darn busy!

Will you all stop wishing each other happy VD day?? It sounds like you mean happy venereal disease day!!!

Maybe I'm cranky because I spent most of today sitting in the waiting room of two different Midas muffler shops and my car still sounds like a rocket taking off. Oh well.

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you.

I don't have the desire nor the strength to go out to dinner so we have invited DMIL to dinner here. Max got a lobster tail for each of us and a pound and a half of stone crab claws. We'll have simple sides of a baked potato and steamed asparagus. I'll help a little snapping the asparagus and cutting lemons but he will do the cooking.

Max brought me lovely pink roses (and some for his Mom) and a sweet card that says "Happy Heart Day".
