I've spent all afternoon trying to figure out what has happened to "my pictures". I am running windows vista. Before today whenever I click on a picture it comes up full screen, but not now! I have a white bar and both sides. Very frustrating as I've always had a full screen before. I've looked at everything (view, edit, tools, etc and searched for ideas and not getting anywhere as to how to make these pictures come up full screen again. Can anyone help please? Thanks, Nancy

Are your pictures opening in Windows Photo Viewer or in a graphics program on your computer. Mine open in Windows Photo Viewer and I have the white bar on the sides because the ratio of the dimensions of the photo is different from the ratio of the dimensions of the computer monitor. If it filled the width of the screen I wouldn't be able to see all of the photo. In Windows Photo Viewer there is an icon at the bottom of the screen that you can click to fill the screen but when I do that I don't see the whole photo. In Windows 7 the icon looks like a rectangle with small triangles on each side.

pictures open in "MY Pictures". Ever since I have had this computer (2 years) every picture I click on opens in full screen on my monitor, now they don't. Now all I see is the white boaders on the left and right. I never saw this until Saturday. I don't know what happened. I've looked at everything on the computer trying to figure out how to make them automatically open in full screen as before. There is an icon that makes each picture open to full screen but I have to click on it on each picture. I never had to do this before, they were automatically all full screen without me doing a thing.

Lars, it wasn't cool in the daytime, it was well into the 70s, but early morning and after dark it cooled off into the 40s, enough that I wished I had not forgotten that jacket. Hey, I think YOU look better than that shirtless guy on the street corner too. AnnT, I loved the market. I told Elery that when I got to the cheese shop with a million cheeses, I think I blacked out, LOL. And the bread was amazing. I also got a Montreal style bagel from St. Urbain, but I messed up. I asked for an Asiago Cheese bagel, and when I got back to the hotel, I found she had actually given me a pastry filled with some sweetened ricotta filling. It was so busy I probably got someone else's breakfast. Peppi, if you head that way, call me first, I'll go with you. It was great fun. Hey, maybe Linda (doucanoe) wants to come along too. I'm on the fence about the curtains. I like the softness factor, but not the traditional factor. That was an older picture of our great room. There is now some artwork, and a zebra rug. The angle of the picture shows a lot more floor. We are getting a new chandelier soon - when it's hung, I will try to choose. Thanks for the input. I LOVE this board!!!!!

Are you using the houzz app? I actually go to the forum through an old link that I bookmarked. I have had difficulty with the app as you describe, posts disappearing and difficulty loading pics. debra

By default, the pictures in My Pictures folder open with Internet Explorer. Could yours have somehow gotten changed to be opening with something else. You might right click on one of them, and choose open with, and Internet explorer, and see if that will put them back like you had them. Good Luck
