You do not say which operating system your computer has. This should work on 98, 98SE, ME, and XP.

OE comes with and is part of IE (Internet Explorer). So you probably want to go to www.microsoft.com/IE and see if they offer a version to you.

Try clicking Start/Run and type sfc (System file checker) and hit enter. This will go through all your Windows files checking for missing or corrupt files. You will likely be prompted for the CD at some point during the scan

Have you tried running an IE repair, start, control panel, add/remove programs, look for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Internet Tools. Click to hilite and click add/remove. You should then get the option to repair. This will repair IE as well as OE.
