Help with built-in range hood choice

Hi all,

I'm looking for a range hood to go in a custom wood hood (24" deep, 42" wide) over a Wolf 6 burner 36" rangetop. I'm considering:

Best CP 47I362SB

and a

Zephyr Tornado III

There are obvious differences - number of lights, placement of lights, CFMs (Best has 1200, Zephyr 1000, both more than adequate). Best has baffle AND mesh together - Zephyr has either/or. Best is less wide, but deeper (22.5"). Zephyr is longer (38") but less deep (something like 15"). 4 speeds on the Best, 3 on the Zephyr (if I recall correctly).

I have been unable to see either in real life, or to hear them.

Does any one have any comments that would be helpful in deciding? Some important difference I'm missing? Would one be better than the other for cleaning or noise?

The range hood choice is a bit overwhelming to me.

Most of the time, I don't expect to be using high heat, so I'd probably be running the fan on the lowest setting possible. Occasionally I'd use high heat, but not for all burners. I don't have a built-in grill or griddle, but I do have a 2 burner Lodge cast iron griddle/grill that I use a lot (I use the griddle more than the grill). I'm even considering getting a second one to increase the griddle area to cover 4 burners. So that would require using a higher setting.

I've done a number of searches on this forum, and found great information, and I'm hoping someone might have some thoughts on these particular blowers or manufacturers. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
