looking for wall mount sink faucet with 3-4' length

I have found this small wall mount sink, no faucet holes.

It is the target size for my small bathroom, just under 17" wide by 13" projection. It maximizes bowl space because there is no faucet deck. It has the curvature and profile I'm looking for.

The drain seems to be about 4" out from the back. Wall mount faucets are typically about 6 1/2 to 8 inches long, too long for this little sink, getting in the way of handwashing and toothpaste spitting.

There is this Kohler Triton faucet, projecting 1 1/4", just a little nubbin, what kind of sink would you use that on!? Do you think it would spout the water out far enough or just pour onto the back rim of the sink?

Then there are the old-fashioned double faucets, one hot, one cold, which do project less but are not very good at getting the temperature you want.

I finally found my ideal sink, can anyone find my ideal faucet?

What would be absolutely perfect is if I could find a pedestal to put under the sink but I will settle for wall mount alone if I have to.

Head-desk. No I do not want a faucet as long as my bathroom is wide!

Okay. There was definitely a double quote mark not an apostrophe in that last subject line. And there are two in this one. Inches, not feet. Obviously. GardenWeb is turning my double quotes into apostrophes in the subject line. It's not me, I swear!

Oh I love that sink! I know there is an American Standard faucet similar to the one pictured. I have 4 Kingston Brass faucets in my kitchen and love them. They are pretty affordable and have longer spout reaches available. Chicago Faucets are super popular with a strong reputation. Enjoy!

I agree with 2" hex on counter - that was the norm - 1" was for floors. I also prefer color to b&w, but finding colored 2" hex today will be really hard, so maybe white hex with colored trim. Make sure it is has a glaze around the sink though. I like pale blue or green with yellow cabs. I HIGHLY recommend the book "Bungalow Kitchens". Reading it was like reading the diary of my house, and it has fantastic pictures of old original cabinets and counters. I think JohnLiu gave the link to pics from his vintage kitchen tour on you older reticulated tile post - find that thread and look at the pics - it has a few awesome colored 2" hex counter pics. As for the tile, I mentioned this on your tile post, and plllog mentioned it here: You will NEED to have it set in real "mud", NOT Thinset! Being Upstate you'll probably be more likey to find someone who can do it. Try contacting local Historical Societies or house museums to find out who does their repair work. Alternatively, try to find a marble flooring installer - marble floors are supposed to be set on a mud bed as well (but an old school tile guy would be best). As for using an undermount sink and tiling over it, I'm not sure if this will work. The problem is what will the sink actually be attached to? Only the 3/4" plywood? Will that work? You have to find out from the sink manufacturers. Another problem will be the size of the undermount rim - because it will be below the plywood, your QR tile will have to go onto the actual sink rim to hide the plywood edge, and if the rim is too narrow it won't be structurally sound.

I don't know if they are a waning trend or not. I chose them, not because of how they looked, but because of my frustration at having to try to keep the areas around traditionally mounted faucets clean - for so many years. It doesn't seem to matter if it's a sink mount or counter mount a 3 piece or one piece, I always got water scum (and I live in a soft water area) that eventually couldn't be fully cleaned and I hated it. I love, love, love my wall mount. If my hands are gooey, soapy, or wet, I can turn on the faucet with my wrist or elbow, etc.

Sorry, don't want shelf faucets. Don't want faucets that cost my entire bathroom budget. Just a faucet-shaped faucet.

Tried Chicago Faucets already - it turns out to be Faucets Direct.

It's more that a longer faucet would get in the way of using small sink than that I want it to hit the drain exactly.

You sound like a contractor who can't be bothered with people on a small budget, or with people who are learning how to DIY. So probably better just to leave us alone.

Try a bar faucet.
They often have small projections.
There are many that cost less than the K Triton.
Email many kitchen faucet manufacturers about this.
As you may be able to surmise from that other thread, there are few answers yet to be found anywhere. No other internet person has responded.

Chicago Faucets (btw) is a manufacturer, not the "shoppe" internet business that copied the name... fwiw.

Ha, found it. The Kohler Triton series does a gooseneck with a projection of 4 inches as well as that nubby little thing.
