Neon Green colored font

I don't see it on this page but other sites have members names in a blinding, headache green. Is there a reason for this?Did miss something?

Maybe try clearing your browsers temporary internet files & history.

Think the member name links here, that take you to the members page are blue until you click them.. then they turn green indicating that you have visited that link.

Stay green until history is flushed out or the page changes with new content maybe.

I cleaned out my history and do see the return of indications that I just visited a site shown in red. The phrase used after submitting a message "Return to the computer help forum" is still that neon green. I may be the only one that cares. Soon I will reboot and perhaps that will take the rest of the neon out.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Interesting. i've gotten a little chlorophyll on my hands from clearing out bamboo and other plants, but nothing quite like you describe. You may be right about the grime.

Help! Carpet turned neon green from heat

The heat or maybe something else has created a chemical reaction removed the red and blue from your carpet dye and changed the color. There is no fix that I know of. A dye would never be an exact match. We had the same thing happen with our dark green carpet when my son was sick on our living room carpet and the reaction was instant. I wiped it up immediately and shampooed the spot. we thought the acid in his vomit removed the color.

Removing the popcorn always looks better, IMO. Popcorn or no, I'd strike that zigzag midline evenly, consistently all the way around the room. Do the green on the bottom half. Do the yellow on upper walls AND ceiling to bring some cohesiveness to the architecture, dilute the choppiness of the different sized walls. Keep in mind you'll be repainting eventually so you'll want to keep the edges of the zigzag and anywhere colors meet as flat and as non-globby as possible. Otherwise, you'll have one heck of a prep, sanding project on your hands next time you paint that room.

Those are all really good ideas mama_goose, thank you. I've been setting my links apart from the regular text, but you're right, letting the regular URL show is probably a good idea. And adding the word "link" and doing the link in bold, is even better (hadn't thought of that.) Interesting how the readability of the links varies for all of us. I hadn't tried my DH's PC until a few days ago, and it helped me to understand why some people are missing so many links. On his computer, for some reason, the green links have an almost olive green hue...they really blend in to the black text, and they don't look like links, intuitively. I'm going to start using your ideas if I add links to posts.

"Soon I will reboot...." What's the big deal about rebooting? Do it, and see if it changes anything.

I don't see anything green, I would check your browser settings to see if maybe the color choices for links has been changed.
