Dollbaby Dining Room Christmas Decor (pic heavy)

Got Dollbaby all 'dolled up' for Christmas this afternoon...here she is ready to celebrate the holidays ...dressed in my very old 'tap dancing outfit' handmade by my Mom many yrs ago!

Do we look alike? (the outfit is a little big but we make it work) LOL!

For Dollbaby's tray'scape, I bring out this Nativity set ...gifted from my Mom & Dad many yrs ago when they were Winter Texans & brought us back gifts from Mexico. I love it ...reminds me of the 'Precious Moments' children. Hey, Dollbaby is also wearing my 'shoes' from my cedar chest:

Gosh Jeanne...I'm sorry I'm late, but so glad I didn't miss this. Love all your beautiful Valentine touches and especialy seeing Dollbaby enjoying the holiday too! Your berry garland candleholder looks so pretty and your buffet in the background always looks lovely. Tea Set looks nice and shiney and with the red accents added makes a beautiful vignette. Dollbaby's new/old outfit is so cute - even her little shoes! Her little tray scape - even crocheted placemat is adorable. I have to say, my eye was drawn to her little cupie doll...I can't believe your Mom made that cute little outfit...how precious. I'm amazed you got this all done in such a short time. Jeanne, I am really,really sorry to be so late getting here. I always love seeing what you do, and the wonderful things you have to decorate with. I've never seen rustic chicks like those, so perfect for your decor too! That lighted egg sounds so neat with the colors that change! I also love the framed birdhouse picture. Mr and Mrs Bunny are such a cute couple! I remember lusting over those Easter blocks last year and wishing the Hobby Lobby I get to go to had them. Thanks jane, candy, punk & nana ... I enjoy changing things out ...& it's funny about that squirrel...must be an 'Enabler' thing (punk)in the back of my mind! That squirrel called to me & here you have it, Jane! I know I've seen yours!!! I really bought it cause thought it might be part of an arrangement in that new 18" cloche I showed you all awhile back...but it was too small & the candle ring was too big ...looked all scrunched up! ;-) It is painted gold with maybe antiquing dark brown over it or else it's vice versa w/dry brushing. candy...we have summer weather for this week! Am loving it ...but so do the 'bugs' this time of the yr! ...the little specks we call 'no-see's' were horrible today when DH & I worked ont he porch siding! But love the WEATHER anyway! nana..the Jewel Tea & that corn husk print are things that I do love ...because of family connections, I guess...enjoy adding good memories! I did do some tweaking already...moved flowers/basket & owl to top of old treadle sewing machine in LR & put that brown linen cloth on table w/soap mold candles & those stained glass 3 leaves ...like I did last yr. Jeanne, nice job on all this! I agree with all the above comments. Your kitchen counter pics with candles lit are wonderful. So many neat items displayed on this post. I have an old covered cake plate that I'll have to share sometime. Not as fancy as yours but kinda neat. Seeing yours reminded me of it. I had to laugh about lowering the shelf. I seem to do things like this alot. Once it's started, there's no turning back. I think you will enjoy a whole new way of decorating it. Your DH's leaves are neat and I like all your white pumpkins on the divider. I so need new flooring but can't seem to getter done. Not positive what I want is the main reason tho. I love hardwood but know I still want carpet in our living rooms. DS is great at laying tile and his home is beautiful. I'd rather vac. so..... Punk

Wow Jeanne...Dollbaby is all dolled up! How cool is it that the outfit was yours?! LOVE it! And the little Nativity set is perfect for her high chair. Everything looks so pretty at your house....very inviting!

Thanks, Holiday-ers ...I'm about done 'inside' the house ...now the porch still has a long ways to go ...but I'm getting there...a few framed works to change out yet.

Dollbaby does seem happy this time of the yr (her outfit is kept in my cedar chest)...she was so pouty this Summer when she didn't get to wear her baseball sweater! Oh well, maybe she'll wear it this Winter yet! ;-) Dollbaby has her own little 'chest' of clothes & some of her 'toys' had to be put in one of those 12x12x12 canvas containers...so I'm not shopping too much for her until she decides it's OK to donate once in a while! LOL! Jeanne S.

This is always so cute and I just love that you have the picture of you in the outfit too!

Everything is looking lovely and festive as usual.
The little sheep are so cute next to that picture (no BAA Humbug there, LOL) and your vine tree is always a fav.
