If you can't play cords on a keyboard, what use is it ?

I had one, tucked it away after getting tired of fiddling with changing and recharging batteries constantly. Always figured I needed two of the same model, so one could be on charge all the time.

I recently purchased a Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse. I'm still using the original batteries in the keyboard, but I've had to change the mouse batteries twice already. I keep a supply of rechargable batteries on hand, so it's no problem to change them. Sure cuts down on the tangle of wires.

As an older person I cannot see an advantage with a cordless keyboard because it sits on a drawer/tray always. However for the younger set who seem to like sitting cross legged it might be an advantage when propped across the knees.

I do enjoy my Logitech MX1000 cordless mouse though

I use two wireless keyboards and 3 wireless mice. I've been using the keyboards since June and have never replaced the batteries. I haven't changed the 'mice' either. All work well. I use the keyboards because I would need long cords. My keyboard and monitor is at least 12 ft. from the tower. I didn't want more long cords.

All of mine are Microsoft keyboards and mice.

Well, Im getting mixed reviews!! LOL! My reason for asking was I have trouble with my cord hanging up in the drawer and I dont like the keyboard on top of the desk...hmmm,Ill think on it.

That's why I got them. As I said, I haven't changed the batteries and I work all day, 5 days a week on the computer.

Got me thinking though, I'll make sure I keep a fresh set at the office. Would really be a problem if the keyboard and mouse died suddenly.

My normal position at this big computer desk is chair pushed back, legs crossed with my feet up on the left corner, and the wired keyboard on my lap. The wired mouse sits on the partially drawn out tray drawer. Fortunately the design of the tray drawer prohibits wires from tangling.

And here all the time I was wondering how I was going to feel about turning 60 this year. :)
