Sandi, I love all your gold items on the table. Your napkin holders really glow, did they come that way or are they more of your handiwork?

I almost bought some gold chargers just like your's at Ross. I talked myself out of them because we barely eat at the table and I was sure DH and DS would tease me about getting "so fancy" by using the chargers. They really are pretty ones though, I love them.

I like how you did the ornament with bow in the dessert dish. I used to have a set of those and got rid of them--I keep looking for more when I'm shopping at the TS! LOL Isn't that always the way it goes--don't use them when you have them, then find out you NEED them after you get rid of them???? LOL

Thanks ladies. The gold chargers came from Ross. They only had 4 left, but I had to have them.

Luvs, The napkin rings came like that. I'm not that handy. LOL And I just bought my compotes and matching stems from a local online yardsale. I bought all she had (4 compotes and 6 stems) for $7.50. One of the compotes still had the little "Made in Poland" sticker on it. And I hope photobucket works out their problems soon so we can see your new tables.

Yachter, There is a larger reindeer pulling the sleigh, but he barely shows up. The theme of this table was supposed to be the reindeer, but I don't think I acheived that.

Sandi...I love your table it is so pretty. The chargers are GREAT, I also like the glittered deer and your napkins. Everything looks beautiful. I've been playing with 5 different table ideas for the last week. It'll be another week until I'll be ready to post pics of everything. I'm trying all kinds of different color themes and gold and cream is one I had on the table a couple of nights ago. Great minds think alike...:)

Here's my Santa table. Again, everything is from the same stores...Walmart, Dollar Tree & Dollar General except...I made the napkins, napkin rings & boxes. The Santa stems were from Walgreen's after Christmas last year for $1 each.

I do wish DH would hurry and get the kitchen painted so I can take pics.

I think this is the cutest table so far!! The santa stems are very unique and the place card holders and the boxes and the plates - pretty much everything. I love cute stuff! I saw the plates in Walmart this year but I was pretty sure of DH's reaction if I used these so had to leave them behind. :)

I have only one more table planned for winter and that will be a snowflake table - I am thinking of setting it up closer to New Year's Day so it will stay there for a while. I guess I dont have the energy or creativity to come up with new tables more often but I enjoy seeing all your table settings!! LOL

Finished the living room last night...I think! I keep doing, then undoing..Fluffed and rebowed 12 wreaths for the porch..I think next year I am hanging a wreath on the door and calling it quits! :)

Your boxes with the bows are sooooooo cute, I cannot make a bow to save my life, did you make all those bows yourself??? That is one thing I've never mastered.

I was at JoAnn fabric tonite & they have xmas dishes with the lime green. They are by Debbie Mumm & they have platters, plates, cups etc. They only had two dinner plates left & they are 60% off, so I may go to the other two JoAnns up north, which are bigger stores & see if they have enough left.

I told hubby I want to do one with lime green next year, oh & Penny's has the lime green trees for on the table & also place mats with silver running thru them, but they are $11.99 each with 50% off right now, but probably won't have any left when they go down any more than that!!

Thank you, Luvs. The napkin rings are simply pvc cut to the right lenght, sanded lightly and spray painted. I then borrowed an idea from Kathleen and cut the Santa from wide ribbon, added some lime glitter to the ball on his hat, and glued it on the ring.

Yachter, My DS likes lime, but not my DH. I love it too. I cheated on the bows on the boxes. The box lids have holes in the top for the candles to go in which would have been in the way of bows so I just made loops and glued them in place. I love Debbie Mumm, but even at 60% off the Christmas plates I saw were $15 each. I hope you find yours at the other stores.

And thank you dd, Karen & bright. I didn't need much lime this year as I already had most of it so I didn't look too much. DH said he was grateful for that. LOL

Okay, I almost hate to even post following Sandi's darling tables, but I played the other night and have some pics to share. I'm going to take the time to post them on here one at a time and pray that they will show up good for all of you to see. DH was out for the evening, so I just tried several combinations to see how they turned out. It is so funny how you can forget something--I had some cute blue ornament candle holders I had planned to use on the one tablescape and then totally forgot about them! Have to blame it on another of those "senior moments". LOL

Found these snowman placemats for 99 cents each, so used some of my snowmen to make a centerpiece to go with them. Trouble with pretty patterned placemats is that you cover them up with the dishes! Luvs

Luvs, I just love those snowflake napkins. They show really well tucked into your stems. And the red plate in the first pic looks like it has small snowflakes also. And I love your snowman centerpiece. The first table is really cute. And what's in the pitcher? It looks delicious. I love the little square snowman plate & plaid placemats on your second table. I really like the basket centerpiece in the 3rd picture and the snowflake napkins tucked into the white mugs with the candy canes. And the table with the blue. Oh my gosh, I love the blue salad plates and stems. And those cute snowman placemats. You got them for a very good price. I love all your little snowmen. All of your tables are so cute. And, I still want to know what's in the pitcher! It must be a magical, self-filling pitcher as it seems to get fuller with each table setting! ;~)

I've been out of town for the since last Wednesday. Boy, you gals have been busy! Sandy, both of your tables are great. The gold and white is so elegant. I love, love, love your Santa table. Every detail is wonderful - the colors, the plates, the stems, the centerpiece. I will now be on a mission to try to recreate that one! I hope you will consider that a complement!! I always say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I guess I will have to make a trek to Walmart for those plates. It's a drive for me - about an hour.
Luvs -your snowman tables are wonderful. Every combo is great! I especially like your square snowman plates..and the snowman centerpiece in the wreath with the snowflakes tucked in...and the red snowflake napkins... and the poinsettia.... and the red placemats with the green and red plates...and the blue table...and everything.

Love every one of these table settings - I usually stay out of the threads on a regular basis. I don't have enough stuff to create any settings nor can I even find my table this time of year but once they get large number of posts I will ooohhhh and aaawwww over them all at one time. luvs...what wonderful tables. I love the snow couple. They are darling. I like all your pretty dishes, and esp the very pretty scalloped blue one. The red poinsettia and the white napkin go nicely with it.
I have a set of place mats like your snowman ones..only mine are Flower pots and I use them quite often. They are very durable. I throw them in the washer/dryer and they come out perfectly. Once again...love all your tables, they are all so cheerful.

I love your Santa table! The colours are fresh and unusual for Christmas time but are a real pleasure for my eyes!

I finally got to do a little table for the 2 of us tonight..
The only thing new this year are the silk poinsettia napkin rings I found in Villeroy and Boch after sale last year...

Lovely table setting kathleen. I like the dark rich green colors w/the touches of red in the napkin rings and centerpiece. Your plates and silver chargers set it all off nicely. I'd love to be a guest at that table, and enjoy some of that fine food!! All I had was Italian Wedding Soup, and Sandwiches tonite!! ... I'm jealous..lol
