Diva de Provence is coming out with an induction range which I believe I read will have a total output of 83000 kW!! Induction on steroids? The oven and broiler sound absolutely amazing and I'm ashamed to admit that if it were in the stores now, I'd be very tempted to get it even though I think the $8500-8900 price tag is obscene. Anyway, I spoke to our regional Diva distributor about a month ago and he said they had just received US approval and started to actually build the units. They hope to have them out by mid-April. My local dealer says don't hold your breath; these things can take a year longer than they claim. Smeg also makes an induction range and they just opened an office and showroom in NYC (at least, the showroom was supposed to open in the fall but I don't know if it ever did). I couldn't get any info from them about whether the range would be available in the US. I finally gave up and opted for a cooktop and wall oven. If you have the money and no time constraints, that Diva range may be worth the wait.

I donÂt have this but I have read positive reviews. If you only have space for a 30", I think this is the way to go. I would prefer the smaller oven on top. I have heard from many people who say they end up using the smaller one more than the big one and this makes sense to me. Do you want a second oven or just a warming drawer??? If you mostly want a warming drawer  then having it on the bottom does make sense. Make sure to check the temps of the bottom oven  some really are just warming drawers and some are really ovens. GE makes both. Have you seen the new GE Café model due out in September? This will be the only 30" slde-in double oven on the market. It comes in either double fuel or all gas.

I've Google searched my way into this forum many times, but never needed to comment or ask questions until now. I do have to say though that the content has always been top notch, and everyone is very helpful! Hopefully I can give back some time! The general feedback here though definitely calms the nerves! In reponse to JWVideo; I actually came across a few reviews specifically for the GE Slide-In Induction Range PHS925STSS, but didn't see any video demos of the issue which is why I asked here, given that there were actual owners who had been living with it commenting on it. Zacman44 comments that flat bottom pans made a difference. Thinking about it, that makes total sense. We'll be getting a new cookset, so I'll make sure to keep an eye out for that. We're in Seattle, and the appliance company (Albert Lee Appliance) has been helpful in the past, so I'll see if they can get it set up to test before we drop the cash for it. I've seen a few other live demos of induction ranges and they look amazing, which is why we are excited to try it out. Again, many thanks for all the helpful comments and seriously quick replies!! I also like this range, but DH doesn't care for the no-back look. I cannot find a floor sample. If anyone has it, they have gas. However, for probably less money I will seriously consider a Samsung or GE induction.
