galaxytools.com has an excellent selection of ss sinks, if that's what you're looking for. but they sell only their label, ticor, sinks, some of which look like copies of blanco sinks. i was set on a blanco myself, but read sterling reviews of glaxytools' sinks here on GW, and wound up buying from them, at a tremendous savings. my contractor thinks it's a great sink. the soundproofing on it, he says, is what they spray the undercarriage of cars with. it's heavy duty and well-made. and i bet if you call in the order for "several" of them, you can negotiate a fat discount. i'm still waitin gon countertops, so can't comment on it's usage. however, i can vouch for their great customer (phone) serivce.

kulagal, I wanted to open your eyes to a few things you maybe haven't considered. I have had a white cast iron sink (Kohler) and now have a fireclay sink (Franke). I LOVE the fireclay. It is SO MUCH easier to keep clean. Basically, you just rinse it. Metal rarely makes marks, and if it does, a wipe with the soft side of the sponge cleans off the mark. The cast iron will require MUCH more scrubbing. Also, people seem to be very happy with their silgranit sinks, although I like the shiny look for a sink. The silgranit is matte. I would never again consider a cast iron sink. I was also warned repeated by people working in design stores that the new cast iron sinks are lead-free now and don't hold up nearly as well as the old ones. I especially wouldn't get an undermount cast iron sink. People love that orca. Many other companies make fireclay: Rohl, Shaw, KWC, Kohler, Franke, Whitehaus, etc. You may have already looked into this. Also, I just saw some very cool new colors in Caesarstone in a design magazine. As of a couple of days ago, they weren't even on on Caesarstone's website. There were three new blacks/dark greys. So if you are after that look, you should at least check them out. The Kohler Simplice faucet comes in two different sizes. With a small sink, the smaller one would probably look better. Can you check out the dimensions online and do a mock-up? Good luck!

Make sure (I don't know this for a fact) that even if your accounts aren't linked, if your debit card account is overdrawn by something fraudulent that the bank won't take funds out of your other accounts to cover it. I would think you could recover that, but I've heard nightmare stories of problems with debit card fraud recovery, vs pretty painless recovery for problems with credit cards. Like others have said, you can only be held liable for $50 of fraudulent charges on a credit card, which is almost always waived unless you did something like let the fraud continue after you knew about it. The rest of any loss would be on the bank/credit card company. That's why they call you about any suspicious charges on a card...not to protect YOU but to protect THEM. If they don't reach you, they can just freeze the card so there are no more charges until it's straightened out. I use my debit card on an account that carries a high balance because it's interest bearing and pays way more interest than I can get for cash anywhere else. But I have to make 10 debit transactions per month to receive the high interest. I only use it at stores I trust, like my food co-op, Starbucks, Tj's and maybe the bird food store. Never at gas stations or restaurants or online. I think using a debit card many places is playing with fire. Much more dangerous than linking a credit card to paypal.

It seems to me that prescription drugs are best monitored by your actual doctor who has a full understanding of your entire body and your medical history. It sounds challenging to get a doc appointment but if your health and mental health are worth losing the weight, then it seems worth the hoops to jump through to see your real doctor. "Both are totally obsessed with food unwilling to practice moderation." "If you can't pass up 2nds and 3rds at the dinner table and won't find an outlet to burn calories it won't work for you. It's not a miracle drug and still takes discipline." From the anecdotal evidence of the six people I know taking these injections and pills, I have not found the above statements to be true for them at all. The medication takes away their mental obsession with food. And, it makes them feel full fast so they have no desire or mental need to eat 2nds and 3rds. My best friend is taking it and she does feel like it is a miracle for the first time in her life to not be mentally consumed with food. It does not take disciple for her because the cravings and desires are not there to have to resist. For her food is very much like an addiction. Addictions are diseases and will power is often not enough to fight it. (Her doctor has her taking the original diabetes medication in pill form, not injections.) I have obese family members who died from complications due to their obesity. I used to think it was all about the failure of their will power and lack of effort. I now realize they probably battled with willpower and took great efforts on a daily basis not to eat more than they already did. I wish this medication had been availble when they were alive.
