That's heartbreaking, Marian. What kind of potting mix are you using? About all I can tell you is what I am doing. I no longer cover my seeds with potting mix. I do put a loose-fitting sandwich bag over the cups. As soon as they start showing green shoots, I take the sandwich bags off. (I watch them pretty close.) I move them outdoors immediately into an aluminum foil roasting pan with a few inches of water. They are sitting on the edge of a covered porch where they get 4-5 hours of sunlight. I do lose one occasionally, but once they start growing, they do really well. If the outside temperature is going to drop down to 34 degrees or below at night, I just haul them all inside, and then back out into the sunlight the next day. You aren't that far from me as the crow flies, so I think you might try that, if you haven't already. I started off by using a pro mix potting soil last year, and had really bad luck getting the seeds to grow. It was too heavy. Next, I used Miracle Gro Seed Starter, until this year I got tired of having to pick out rocks and chunks of wood. I started mixing my own, by buying a bale of peat moss. I use a 50% peat moss, 25% vermiculite and 25" perlite mix now. It gives good drainage. I add Schultz's Expert Plant Food (1 scoop/gallon of water) once the second leaves begin to grow. I do change the water every 3 days. A friend of mine discovered it was better to just make a small depression for the seeds, and not cover them until they start to grow. I just sift some regular dry potting soil down in the holes as needed once they start growing, just to keep the roots covered. I tried using the chamomile tea, but it didn't work for me. I sure came to the right place. Thanks to all of you. Each reply was different, but either would have probably worked.I did the easiest thing for me and that was to pull the plugs on the printer and scanner, reboot and uninstall the software, even after a stern warning that I would be doing irreversible damage. Then I turned the computer back on and tried the scanner and printer. Both work fine, so far. I may have done damage that has not shown up yet. If I have a problem I may try the system restore feature. I had forgotten I even had that. Have had this computer for about 3 years and never tried the system restore.Thanks again!! Ida

The MOPyfish software was originally released in 1997 and is no longer available for download. There is no support available for this product. it looks like there are some exe files available on this site. the mopyfish page mopyfish frequently asked questions answers a lot of related questions however for the supported systems it only lists Win 95, 98, NT try doing a google search for MOPy fish and you can find more info but it is all very old.

Thanks for the response. Nothing is checked and everytime I try to check anything it will not stay checked. This program is totally messed up for some reason. Gallery will not work at all. I deleted all of my pictures and reloaded the 2 memory cards I have. They did load pretty much in the order I took them but some still I have to look for. At least it didn't sort them the way "it" wants too. BUT Now I can't plug the camera in to load pics, it will only let me load by putting the memory card in the tower. It was always so easy to just plug it in before. Now that feature is messed up too. Another thing, it use to show pictures full screen and now it only shows them about 90% of the screen. I can enlarge to full screen but it has to be done on each pic I look at. Before they all were full screen without doing anything. Soooo frustrating! I don't know what happened to make this program work so bad. No kids or anybody messes with this computer but me. Thanks for your help. Nancy
