Need help with photo program

I have "zoner" and Adobe Photoshop 4.0 and I don't like either one of them, hard to use. Can anyone recommend a better and easier photo program? Regards, p.k.

I use Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 - I am trying to learn Adobe Elements 5.0, but Digital Image Suite is SO much easier, and does just about everything that Photoshop Elements does.

Microsoft is no longer making the program, but you can still find it. It is really easy to find on eBay, and inexpensive also - I have seen it for $35 or less.

There are also free ones out there like Irfanview and others....but I find that Digital Image Suite (DIS) offers a little more than those.

DIS has tutorial videos built into the program - those really help. And there are a few sites that have great tutorials available.

I use Paint Shop Pro. I find it to be so much easier to use than Photo Shop. I have tried the trial version of Photo Shop some time ago and found the learning curve very high and comparing it to PSP it seemed very similar just harder to understand. I do have Adobe Elements 5.0 installed and fool with it a little, but still go back to Paint Shop Pro.

Just recently downloaded this powertoy from windows. I really like it. Very simple and doesn't clutter up my computer. It's a neat tool to have on hand for lots of different applications. The MOPyfish software was originally released in 1997 and is no longer available for download. There is no support available for this product. it looks like there are some exe files available on this site. the mopyfish page mopyfish frequently asked questions answers a lot of related questions however for the supported systems it only lists Win 95, 98, NT try doing a google search for MOPy fish and you can find more info but it is all very old.

Microsoft drops Digital Image Suite I not sure exactly what you are trying to do. I'm thinking you could find your pictures in Kodak EasyShare, click Edit\Select All, right click a photo\copy, then go find My Documents\My Pictures and paste them. At least you would know the photos are in My Photos. You don't need EasyShare to transfer photos from camera to computer. Most advise against installing software that comes with a camera. Once you get all the photos removed from Kodak EasyShare, you can go to the control panel and remove the program. PhotoBucket is just an online place to store photos. Don't know what the zig-zag is, and have no idea about a window that says to restore them or whatever or the little picture of a "lost" one. Anyway, I think you're going to need to learn how to transfer photos from camera to computer (if this is what you're trying to do) without using third party software, because they'll save them in hard to find places.

Sorry I forgot to add Corel Paint Shop Pro's newest is called Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, I have it and love using it. There are many tuts out there for PSP.
