Hi Everyone! It has been cold the past two days here -37C with the windchill. The days before that snow, snow and more snow. We have about 3 ft now. Not much gardening going on around here. Even the leaves on my fushia plant have started to die back, can't figure out what is going on. I don't think it has bugs. Hi nicole Welcome! I haven't been to Dr. Phil's website. I have been taking Cod Liver Pills for over 20 years now, but I don't know the other pill. Is Glucosamine Sulfate a calcium pill? I have to be careful as I'm on so many other meds. I am back on my old arthritis meds, I went to see the doc last week. He has cut me back though, I'm only taking 1/3 what I was taking before and that is cut in half twice a day. I was on new meds for one day but there were a bit too many side effects so he put me back on naproxen. Hi claubill, yes I had elizabeth levin. That is great u have lost so much weight already! I use to be the Corresponding Secretary for ours and it kept me busy! It sounds like your family was really sick! Are u sure it wasn't food poisioning? I'm glad you are starting to feel better now, but it sure sounds like u went thru a terrible time. Sounds like u are having nice temps.. 10C? I wish you'd share some of that with us. I didn't know it was an anti inflammatory. I'd better go I'm going to try and bake some rhubarb/strawberry pie and I have never baked it before, so it's going to take me a while. Thanks! Yes, punk, I've had that chenille snowman awhile & I think our Purplemoon here has that same 'doll' that the snowman holds! She has hers in a cloche, I think ...funny how we find many of us share the same decor...love it! party .. Rowe pottery has been around since 1975 I guess ... I have a couple crocks & a vase & my fave pattern is this Pinewood one (jeannespines, ya know!) ... I would buy a new piece once a year sometimes. Great deal on the $10 plate (microwave & dishwasher safe, too) ...because I see it's $29 on their website! I have 2 lighted trees up yet...the porch & of course, the vine tree which will get some red birds in Feb. & a little bling! Love your vine trees & extra special because you made it! Jeanne S.

Hubby is feeling better this morning he says. Thinking maybe pancreatitis attack. It happens with the surgery he had. And yes I do keep a running journal of issues between visits. Not as detailed as it used to be but I guess I am going to have to do more of that. It is very helpful. I was given up for adoption as a baby so was not raised by my birth family. I found my Mom when I was 32 and father shortly after but he denied me for 14 years. Finally he agreed to the DNA test and he was 99.42% positive to be my father. But he was not a very nice person and his sister and her kids were not willing to be friendly so I let it go. Funny I salvaged photos and school yearbooks and hauled them home on a plane for them to send to them. I thought I was doing a nice thing. I called to let them know and left message on answering machine and next thing I am getting a letter from an attorney demanding all I had of THEIRS in my possession. Well Screw that. I sent the year books and a few photos and called it good. I do not think I really wanted to try harder to be friendly with a family so angry and mean. Not sure my red hair had anything to do with it.I was well into grey by the time my father accepted me as his daughter. He dies a couple of years ago but I had not spoken to him in a few years before that. It was never a close relationship. My Mom and I have a good relationship. Our 34th anniversary of my finding her was Feb 12th. We had a nice phone visit.
