Finally upgraded to 1 GByte RAM

I purchased a (left over and cheap, and with XP!!!) Gateway notebook about a year ago, it had only 512 MBytes of RAM, running XP Home. It worked fine, but on checking it appeared an easy operation to add memory, using the one spare slot. Better yet, I found Kingston selling 512 MByte 533 MHz compatible memory chips for $15 + Tax, no shipping charge, wow! I have added the memory and can easily see the speed improvement, a small investment with a good pay-off.
