Loger: No flack intended just general information. We all have to learn somewhere. I still remember my 1st welding experience , during my Diesel Apprenticship in the early 60.s . It was Gas torch fusion welding back then with appropriate filler rod. My bib tops had more filler rod tip burn holes then a sprinkler hose . Baymee should remember this trial and tribulation during his learning stages . My second Welding upgrading was during my College upgrading during my Stationary Engineering 3rd Class Degree. We used 550 volt 3- phase Lincoln Industrial Welder in the early 70,s and it was required to weld 8 inch x 8 inch test coupons from 1/4 inch hot rolled steel plate in position. 2 complete 8 pass welds in all 4-positions (flat / horizontal / vertical / overhead) I really had a problem initially in horizontal position with undercutting the weld from to hot a heat setting . Most beginners have trouble with adequate penetration in overhead from to cold of a setting. Once completed we cut the coupon into 4 separate strips (vertical band saw) and bent them into a U within a hydraulic bender . If any of the welds cracked we flunked our CWB Exam. My second testing was again Stick welding during my Pressure Vessel Certification U-69 we were required to fabricate a 4 inch x 4 inch x 1/2 inch metal box from 1/8 plate complete with a 1/4 inch weldolet coupling. Once the fabrication was done the box was pressurized 600 psi until it ballooned and then was submerged in water to check for any weld failures (bubbles) identified and again you failed this 1st phase of testing . Before you even got into the Boiler Pipe Weld testing . So yeah have burnt a few sticks of Rod in my Day . Really liked 5/32 Jet Rod , lazy Welders Rod only for flat position welding . Hated Low Hydrogen nasty flux fumes very hazardous. Anyhow been a few yrs since I stick welded , most of my projects are with a Miller Mig these days. Like riding a bicycle you never forget but it will take some practice to get quality welds after a few yrs absence. I remember some of the best welders I worked with during my Industrial Days were the laziest , they could weld on their head once they found a comfortable position. i ordered medallion cabinets and their website says they are made in the usa. i went with the silverline level which still gave me soft close and dove tailed drawers but got my maple cabs to $8k. i priced out kemper echo, diamond, kraftmaid and showplace all with a veneer door panel in shaker door with 5pc drawer and showplace was highest at 12k and surprisingly medallion was lowest. i really liked the medallion and kept visiting the lowes display to look at their kraftmaid, diamond and schuler displays(schuler is medallion) and we just really liked the medallion. the nice thing was that the medallion kd was excellent as well so it was a win-win on price and value. btw my order was for 19 cabinets, 5 lowers were drawers and 1 lazy susan. i kept the cost down by skipping the molding, light rails and built in refrig cab as those extras i didn't care about and they were pricey. also my kd was cheaper than schuler at lowes!

Hermitian, who the hell asked you? You're not looking for more company are you? Hermitian is indeed looking for company, but we are the wrong gender! I have seen photos of his place and I think he needs our help though. It's much too nice for one guy. We would need a few weeks for assessment of the place, before we could even give any advice. Hermitian appears to be somewhat of a good cook too, so as long as he feeds us, we will do it out of the goodness of our hearts. Then the postal abbreviation can be changed to MZ, better than MO, which of course is a phonetic reference to one of The Three Stooges. OK, now I will never forget MO as the correct abbreviation. My brother in law is from MO, and well if the shoe fits! A few years ago I saw that arch. It is impressive and the building of it is funny. When they got to the top, it didn't line up! Ha! They figured a way. First thing they did is fire Larry and Curly! They hired some guy named Shemp. Later they added another Curly Joe.

Greeny, In answer to your question/s regarding how old the Cheer and Ariel (Latin version) might be...I bought the powder Cheer thru Target dot com about 3 months ago. How old that stock was at the time, I don't know. I didn't save the boxes. The boxes didn't say anything about "reformulated" or "new and improved", so it's likely to be the previous unimproved formulation. If it gets any better than it is now with improvements, well then, just call me one happy girl! I just hope they don't improve it the way P&G improved their scent of Tide cause then I'll be sad. I l-o-v-e the light, clean scent of powder Cheer. The powder Ariel (Latin) I am currently using is a couple months old. Again, I have no way to know how old the stock was when I bought it as I threw the bags away as soon as I got them home and poured the powder into my plastic storage bins. The American Ariel that I choose not to buy again, I bought in Feb 2017. It cleaned well. I just could NOT stand the scent and it left our laundry rough. For us to say that it's rough says a lot since I never use liquid fabric softener, so we are used to laundry not being Downey softened. I do use Bounce fabric softener sheets when needed, but that's only for static control since it's so dry here, we have to use a dryer sheet, or else all clothing is a static-y mess when put in the dryer. I find the softening of dryer sheets to be marginal, compared to liquid fabric softener. Way way back, in the stone age, I used to use liquid Downey, but when we moved to this location, the static was too strong even for LFS, and I had to change to dryer sheets. I hope that helps!
