One LONG mirror or two?

We are mid-way into our build and I am trying to figure out the master bath vanity mirror/mirrors. The vanity is approximately 10' long. The cabinet/vanity will be 38" tall with 2 sinks and a 4" backsplash. The ceiling height in that room is 9'. My question is do I do 1 long, probably 8' mirror (that would be framed out by the trim carpenter) or two smaller ones that I would purchase already framed? My dh would probably prefer the single larger one cause that is what we have always had. I don't care but whatever I choose, it needs to be timeless as it will be there for a LONG time. Also, I will not be doing single sconces...I will place two 4-light fixtures above each sink...

thanks for any imput!
