Using NoScript within Firefox is not just a way to get around the ads -- it's an extremely safe way to browse the internet. I don't ever visit questionable websites (ie. porn, "hacks", etc) yet I once got a nasty spy/adware "virus" by falling asleep at my mouse and accidentally clicking some web ad banner at a safe site. This was several years back when IE vulnerabilities were exploited with regularity. Since FF and Noscript, I've had minor hassles with my normal sites until I add them as safe sites "Allow XYZ site". But from that point forward, never see ads, never get junk installed, and can browse with confidence, even when I grudgingly hand my keyboard over to a visitor wanting to "get on the 'net".

Fanboys and Easylist are both good general subscriptions. Nowadays when Adblock Plus installs, it automatically subscribes you to one or the other at random. Yeah, if you don't have Easylist in there, and you disable Fanboy, you won't be subscribed to any list and Adblock Plus won't do you a bit of good. So you'll want to re-enable it. Optionally, if you want to try Easylist, it's here: http://easylist.adblockplus.org/en/ or if you'd rather: Add EasyList to Adblock Plus I wouldn't subscribe to both at the same time though, it might slow your browser down too much checking through two huge lists. :) Edit: It's okay to have both Easylist and Fanboy listed in you subscriptions... just don't have both enabled(checked) at the same time. Edit2: I just tried Fanboy on one of my other computers just in case there was a problem with one of his filters. It "seems" to work fine. Here is the main download page for adblock plus there you will see the different icons for the various browsers like firefox, chrome, opera etc. Just click the one for the browser you want to download for. this one should be chrome. Kay:Your roses are beautiful.I only have 6 or 7 roses, here.I left the others, so far.Not sure yet if I can move them or not.Picture taking may be out, too.I had to buy a new camera a few weeks ago,as the other one wouldn't turn on no more, so I have a NIKON now,and I took a bunch of pictures to try it out and it takes gorgeous pictures, but, so far have not been able to email none of them to my daughter.Every time I try I get a box up says I have no email program for it, and I have 2 email progams.Didn't have a bit of problems with the canon camera.I have no idea how I can do anything with it, email, or forum photos either.. a box pops up and tells me to creTE A ASSOCIATION IN THE DEFAULT programs control panel, and of course,I don't know how to do that and afraid to try to do some thing, not knowing what I am doing, and mess up everything., but wanted to tell you hw gorgeous the roses are. jean
