there are 2 different passwords not sure which you mean but I think you are meaning you forgot the password to access your wireless network that is different than the password for the router, the one for the router is the one that lets you access the inner settings of your router. Those are all extremely important and should be written down and kept somewhere safe, the one's for both the router and wireless network can be written on a piece of paper and taped to the router on the bottom or side not blocking the vents.

There is a free program you can use to gain your passwords, you have to use it from one of the computers that is actively on the wireless network. It may trigger your antivirus program and say it is an infection it is not, it is just the type of file it has to use to get access to your passwords, it will only work on your pc for your passwords only. Usually it is better to use it with the AV turned off so you do not get the warning, once you have your passwords then go to add remove programs and remove the programs you should not need them again and of course turn on the AV.

Thanks, I tried the downloads like you sugested but didn't have any luck. More then likely I did it wrong. LOL The password that I can't find is the one that if someone is at my house & they want to connect their laptop to my internet. I have it written down, or so I thought that was what is was but it doesn't work when we have tried it for this purpose. So does this mean I can not use a wireless printer? tell me what happened when you dowloaded and installed the program I gave you when you tried to use it? It should display a screen with all the wifi passwords that it finds on your pc, that pc must be connected to your wireless network when you use the tool. You can use it on any pc or laptop that is currently connected to your wifi network.

It is very simple to use if you look at the page where I linked to for the download it shows you a picture of exactly what it will look like so you know what to expect.
When you downloaded the file did you go all the way to near the bottom of that page(below where it says Feedback) and click on the one that says download wireless key view?
If you happen to be using a windows 7 system that is 64 bit you will need the next one down that says it is for 64bit.

When I clicked on extract files it never showed anything. I think I might not have something to unzip the file?
