That I just noticed that near the bottom of spywareblaster is a place that lists your last scan date. I do it every couple weeks, and it says the last one was 12/08/2008! I did one last nite! Are my scans not really scanning?

No no, the 's' is only needed where security is needed when dealing with any form of business. The straight http is just fine.

Re the scan, something is amiss. Why not look for updates and run another scan to clear any doubts.

ok first spywareblaster does not do any scans, all you do with it is open spywareblaster(double click the icon) and hit the update button on the program it will then connect and get the latest updates, ok that, then click on the button that says enable all protection so you add all the new definitions then the shield on it should turn green, that is all you do, x out.
what are you meaning by scans? and why go to javacool site to add an update? your program will update it self if you hit the update button??

I got an update installed yesterday on mine and no problems what so ever.

No zep- it was from my post of Sept 11, 08 that ravencajen told me to put spyblaster on my computer. I did then.

ravenc...somehow when I hit the latest up dates, it took me to the javacool site- and wanted to update a program called 'eulayzer'. That's where I got confused...
I went back again just a bit ago as owbist suggested and clicked on the update and had no problem. ????

I guess I called spywareblaster 'scanned', because when I tried to put the new update on it the green 'things' go across the bottom, just like when you scan other things.
poor terminology.

Anyway, my pointer/computer is not frozen anymore.

ok well the eulalyzer is an entirely different program than spywareblaster. It is also a program by javacool but not related to spywareblaster. Here on the link to javacools products you can see the list.

Raven..don't know HOW it showed up. anyway- the 'MRU'- on the site you provided- is that any good? In todays world might it help keep your stuff more private or just a scam/scare? Would it clear up enough to make more space on a computer?

Whoops, I screwed up on my second post. Even though ilmbg wrote Spywareblaster I saw Superantispyware. Sorry about that.

I understand completely Owbist, I thought maybe that was what she meant also, then she mentioned javacool so I knew she had to mean spywareblaster LOL

Javacool is a great guy, his programs are all legit and aboveboard and safe, I personally have not used any of his other than spywareblaster and I used to use spywareguard.
But I have seen people recommend the others. The EULAlyzer one you have is a good program to help you see and understand those long EULAs that people usually never read but should.
As to MRU blaster I think it is much like ccleaner and ATF cleaner, cleans out your caches, history, etc.
