I have the willow friendship girl from friend in Tn. She has flowers in her hands like she is going to give them to me(flowers are wire). They are so sweet.Love all your decor & dishes. I notice something tho, your tray is different than 1 they show in 1985 Hall book by Margaret & Kenn Whitmyer. The tray on page 37 has round handles on end like the 2 side ones on yours but bigger.I like yours much better Since it was only made in 1975-disc. in 76 both kinds would be quite rare I would think. They made so many things in Autumn Leaf, playing cards,bowl covers(shower cap looking)linens, canister sets, flour sifter, thermos( about 1 gal I think with spigot )Metal pieces the finish disappears at sight of water they said.Bread box & cake carriers, cooking pots & even a kitchen chair which is probably worth a fortune now. Jewel Tea came around our neighborhood but never stopped at my house, seemed to have appointments at 2 houses over in cul -de- sac?? I love the Aladdin teapot, it's such a neat shape. i have a 6 in tall water pitcher or maybe coffee pot(no rim indent or anything) got a few months ago for $1. couldn't pass that up! Gold little thin around top of it but in great shape otherwise. Glad you got a cabinet just for your beautiful collection!! Jeanne, nice job on all this! I agree with all the above comments. Your kitchen counter pics with candles lit are wonderful. So many neat items displayed on this post. I have an old covered cake plate that I'll have to share sometime. Not as fancy as yours but kinda neat. Seeing yours reminded me of it. I had to laugh about lowering the shelf. I seem to do things like this alot. Once it's started, there's no turning back. I think you will enjoy a whole new way of decorating it. Your DH's leaves are neat and I like all your white pumpkins on the divider. I so need new flooring but can't seem to getter done. Not positive what I want is the main reason tho. I love hardwood but know I still want carpet in our living rooms. DS is great at laying tile and his home is beautiful. I'd rather vac. so..... Punk

The pattern of my pinecone plates is called Pinecone, I believe. It's from the W.S. George Company and were made sometime between 1904 and 1954.You need to look for your New Mexican Indian doll, although I'll bet it's too southwestern to work with Thanksgiving decs. I know that mine are. Tammy: Hooray for Fall . . . I love it, too! Luckygal: yes, my hutch was made locally. It even has leather hinges on it. Remind me and I'll try and take some detailed pics of it someday. I'll bet your DH could make you one. Mine's made of old barn wood. As for my sugar & creamer, there isn't a pattern name on them and it only says, "OCI and the date 1993 on their bottoms. I bought them in 1993, I guess, and have never seen anothr piece of this pattern since. I do remember that the store (now closed) also had the matching cannisters. Jane, I'll pass along your compliments to Emily. Yes, decorating with things from my DD & DS's childhood brings back many happy memories. I used silk flowers on my cornucopia. As much as I enjoy seeing them overflowing with fruits, etc. my dogs will eat those, so I keep mine empty (LOL). And, yes, I love my pinecone napkin rings. I'm so glad that comes across in my pics, because creating a warm, inviting, comfy place for my family and friends to relax in is much more important to me than a home that's beautiful but uncomfortable and/or uninviting. I've seen some repros like it with glass tops, but I like ours the way it is. Our living room is very eclectic . . . LOL! Yachter: too funny! Thanks all. :-) I'm looking forward to setting up a "pumpkin themed" table for the brunch we're having on Thanksgiving for my parents. I'll switch out the centerpiece to include my large ceramic pumpkin tureen (it matches the little bowls I just got) and the bowls will be serving pieces for that meal. I'll post pictures when I get it all set up. DD, I really didn't do much decorating. A table in the living room, the fireplace mantle, the front window, and the outdoor basket is all (aside from the dining table, of course). All very minimally done. My thanksgiving stuff fits in three smallish boxes...a far cry from the tubs and boxes for Halloween. You're right, I don't have the energy for much after October! :-)
