Falling For Fall - Soup X2 Is On
Comments (10)Karen, I know you love fall and your helping me get into it more and more every year.LOL Candy, I sure hope you start decorating for fall soon. I love seeing how many things we all have alike on here. If I wasn't so busy with work, I would try to make up a calendar for different scapes we could all do different months. Seems like we all feed off of each other so well! I found three little cowboy boots that hold a dish that I need to share with all of you. Not that special but pretty cute. Ready to send me your plates to go with so I can set a table?haha Jeanne, the top plates are 222 Fifth PTS "Leah". Did I tell you I came across a few 'Jewel Tea' dishes at an estate sale this summer? If I remember correctly, there was maybe 5 pieces for $100. Yep you guessed it, I came home empty handed.Sigh Nana, should I send the matching pm and napkins?LOL I see that you have another post that's calling me so I'm excited to check it out. Your so great to keep us entertained! Marlene, thanks so much for being here with us and always commenting. Now it's my turn to check out your post.WOOHOO Jane, I so miss all your wonderful decor and ts. Was great you had time to share a few with us this summer. You do such an amazing job and we miss it when your not here inspiring us. Fun2BHere, it's wonderful to have you here posting with us! Comments (8)That runner on the buffet is made of 'leather' ... it was something I splurged on for myself a few yrs back while vacating in MN...I love it! Here's the dining table w/runner & lil' squirrel vignette...my hubby made the leaves in his workshop some yrs ago: ...and I brought out some more of my Hall China 'Autumn Leaf' pattern from Jewel Tea...I have collected this for about 20 yrs now ... started when I bought some pcs from our hubby's parents' estate sale. I remember my Mom had some pcs. too... premiums from the Jewel Tea man. ;-) Well, Dollbaby doesn't have on her Halloween gear yet ... & the porch is not decorated ...so I'll be sharing more soon (I hope). Comments (14)Jeanne, I really look forward to seeing dollbaby each season in her new attire. That little hat you made is so darn cute on her--what a talented lady you are. What amazes me most is that you always have just the perfect little dish or cup and some kind of little "toy" additon for her. How wonderful that you still have your little shoes and they work on dollbaby! Just so cute and too much fun. ;o) Your buffet decor with the turkey and wire cloche, your elegant looking pumpkin, the lighted branches and all your wonderful little birds just add such a nice warm homey feeling to your decor. It's all lovely, great job. Luvs...See MoreThanksgiving Table ...Buffet Style (pic heavy)
Comments (13)Thank you, holiday-ers! ladypat...yes, I wish that t'cloth could talk! Can you imagine? (on someone's table 70 or 75 yrs ago!) phonegirl...working woman...you're up & fixin' ...this is the first time I've used placemats on counter...we're all just a bunch of Enablers R Us! (mmmm, pretzel & broccoli salad sounds good!) jane & luvs...too funny about our ceramics! I loved it! & it was an evening with "adults" ...good memories, too. Thanks for the compliments...while the greenware was wet, my teacher taught how to "lift up" those feathers with a tool & then it was fired or whatever before painting. PM...that turkey was the TJMaxx 50% off ...so $6.50 that I got just recently...remember, I think it was YOUR doings that brought it to my home! LOL! Thanks! oak...I started collecting Jewel Tea in mid 90's ... because I got a few pcs at MIL's estate sale...the hunt has been fun & my china closet is full...altho there's lots more out there! OA...cringe! Red wine! LOL! Everytime I put it on the table I kind of "blank" it out of my mind...my kids don't know the value...but the value is just "using" it! My DS broke a glass a couple yrs ago & now he won't drink out of Jewel Tea glasses! LOL! They make fun of my dish addict syndrome, I think! Jeanne S. ok, I must get off here & peel potatoes! :-)...See Moreoldalgebra
