Did someone ask about window candles?

I'm not sure if it was this forum or not, but I believe someone asked about window candles for Christmas? I decided to replace my candles this year because the flicker was slowly dying out. I think I've gotten good service out of them, though.

Anyway, I found the exact type of window candle I was looking for at Walgrens. WHITE light, steady, battery operated, turn them on and they stay on for eight hours, go off and come back on at the same time each night. They were $7.99 for four. Regular price was $9.99 for four -- still not bad. For such a low price I thought I had better take them out and give them a try. They all work, now we'll see tomorrow morning if they are off as they should be, and tomorrow night if they come back on. I'll follow up.

It's not the "golden glow" I really wanted, but it's not that weak light that you sometimes get from battery candles either. It's more of a soft, comforting light.
