I have been getting a popup down in the lower right corner to update FF. I didn't react cause I was going to inquire about a new update as I haven't heard anything on here about one. My FF is 3.6.14. Is that the latest? Also, each time I open FF, win7 asks if I want to make changes to this computer and I think it wants to update. I ran malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware and a virus scan yesterday and all was well.

I have Firefox 3.6.16. If I click on Tools, About Mozilla Firefox is at the bottom of the list. It tells what version I have. Above that in the drop down box is Check for Updates. I do that and it tells me there is a new version available, and the choices are Ask later, No Thanks or Get the new version. I haven't gotten the new version; waiting to see what others say about it. Raven, thank you. I sent all of this post to my tech and hope he reads it. I'm scared as I still have XP, and although I love IE because it is what I've always used, I am now using Firefox. I did go in and change the settings so it can't automatically upgrade. When I went to try to find out what "version" of Firefox my tech had installed, it looked like it was trying to update something. I got out of that fast. LOL My tech is looking around to get me a new computer as mine will soon be 10 years old. I am going to hate giving up my XP, but I will have no choice.
