Patches when you open Ccleaner click the 'Options' tab on the lower left side. Then click the Cookies tab. Here you will see all your cookies listed on the left side of the screen. Carefully look down through and highlight one you need saved then click the small arrow in the centre that points to the right side. You will see the cookie appear on the right side, it is now saved and safe from removal by Ccleaner.

Repeat for each cookie you need protected

I did as you said, then when i run the cleaner it does the analysis it shows google toolbar and if i run the cleaner my toolbar is gone then. I'm trying to get it so the toolbar doesn't show so it doesn't do anything with it. To get it back i have to do a system restore to before i used the cleaner.

On the analysis report it is not reporting the GTB cookie, but rather the GTB itself. I'm at work right now so I can't look at mine so if your attempting to remove GTB from the analysis process ferret around CC. I am certain there is a menu which shows which applications CC will check. See if GTB is an entry on that menu. If so just uncheck that box.

You will want to check these settings in cleaner and uncheck the approiate one.

Internet - These programs include browser add-ons such as Flash and the Google toolbar, instant messaging programs, and firewalls.

Look at the left - Options / Exclude
Put the path or reg or folder that ccleaner analyze shows for your google.

Personaly I dislike addin toolbars - I remove browser tool bars to fix other peoples computers way too frequently.

I don't care for them either and it was really frustrating until I learned to pay attention when I upgrade a couple of programs.
