Getting started! What better than to LOL & start in the bath! Here's my BOP pics...I changed out the tank cover w/a neutral color rug:

The little clip-on birdies are like the ones I use on my Vine tree in dining area:

Jeanne, this is so funny. I did a little decorating in my purple bath
today and used a small purple tree on the bop. I couldn't finish w/o
going back out to the shed so it's started.haha

I really like your tree, birdhouse w/birds and trio. I need to decorate
more with white but tend to do more w/color. So glad you started this
BOP thread and will add mine when/if I ever finish.

Jan, I want to steal your thunder a bit so I can tell the folks what been ailing me. I know it shouldn't be on this side but I will post a pic so as to keep in line! I had an episode about three weeks back where the Dr thought I had a mini stroke. It turned out that, that wasn't the case but I spent a couple of days in the hospital anyway! I went to Fl with my sis and started feeling a little sick in mid Ga. by the time I got to Orlando, I was ill but able to get around. we went to Abajians garden. He is a lovely man. Then to Stamiles ( guy pierce ) but they were closed. Then on to Trimmers where he was closed but we looked at his dls. fabulous garden. I was supposed to visit Phillip Reilly but he was a no show! Anyway by this time I was really sick so we started back home. I finally went to the Dr and had.. Pneumonia, pleursy, ear infection, sinus infection and an intestional infection. I have been treated at home and am on the mend but still weak and not able to do much, but take pix. Not that I have that many to take yet! Here is one I ordered from Guy Pierce a couple of months ago. For a ffo, it's lovely. BTW, Frank Smith was a few miles from my sis's house in Apopka but wouldn't let us come to his garden. No exceptions! Oh well, I didn't feel like it anyway! Thanks for all of your well wishes...Ellie

Lrae - yep, we were cross posting! Nancy, yes, it is really that pink - and even better like Juliet's picture shows (SHE is the reason I bought this one). okbt - a lot of my daylilies have diamond dusting, but NONE of them compare to how PP is. I can see her shining from far away. I still have some newbies to go, so I might find another one... Chris - I got two whole buds on CC. But, to be fair, she just went in on March 31. I was just happy to see that it was the right CV, and to get a glimps of that happy bloom. I can't wait until the eyezone thickens up a bit. I look forward to seeing yours! Thanks Kathy! Uh, Juliet, You, my dear, are the reason I bought this daylily! I just fell in love with it. I think it was on that post where you shot your beds from the upstairs window. I am so excited that it is blooming. Three fans, three scapes. AND if you can believe it, last year, after it was planted, I slid down the little hill where it is planted and broke off all three fans at the crown. Didn't seem to mind at all, grew back big and strong. No spring sickness on this one, but I am having the darndest time with Awesome Artist. I am starting to think it has a viral infection. It has made three good looking scapes, which didn't even get to branch out - they turned yellow, brown and died. The leaves are also yellowing, but in a weird way. While the outside leaves look ok, the middle leaves (not the new ones, but not the outside ones) are yellowing badly. AA is right next to Cantique and Clothed in Glory, both of which are doing fantastic and have super branching and budcounts. So, I know it is not under/over watering. I checked around the rootzone, and there are no air pockets either. The roots look ok. Weird. Ever see anything like that?

Love the asiactic lily, a pretty one for sure. The shot from the roof looking down is not for me. Makes me dizzy and I don't care for the angle of looking straight down on everything. I want my feet firmly planted on the ground LOL! My favorite is Siloam Sambo. I find is quite interesting the way you have paired it with the red Coleus. Those match perfectly.

Oh that's a beautiful specimen. Reading about it, I'm sure I'd be glad to have a couple of those. I love the fact that it is fragrant. It has so many qualities and in looking at yours Natal it appears very hardy. How large was yours when you purchased it? I'm assuming you purchased it locally. What about you Wodka, same questions. Nice to know it grows from a cutting also. One of the things I want to do is plant fragrant vines and plants by the doors as I love that when I'm entering and exiting. Right now I have to walk around my neighborhood smelling all the neighbor's fragrant flowers. LOL Thanks for the information and photo's.

Ohhhhh...a purple tree, punk! Sounds intriquing! I decided to change out the bathroom a bit by changing rug & BOP cover ... my little antique angels are on the wood trio shelf on the wall...will share that when I get some more done...maybe tomorrow. Thanks! Jeanne S.

Jeanne, that's a neat shelf. Always enjoy seeing angels and your
heirloom 'family' angels are sweet as can be. Several of my little

Finally got around to doing "tweaking" on the little things. Kept my BOP simple this year , however..

very pretty MM - love that you are carrying the color theme throughout your house. One year I will do that - right now I tend to do color themed 'rooms'. I think the same theme is more restful to the eye tho .....

Changed the wall art in the bath today, too...this is one of my pics that I had printed on canvas a few mos ago ... Woodpecker @ porch garden feeding area ...I think it looks great in this spot on the wall across from my sink/mirror! Also somewhere in my stash of 'tubs,' I have some of those small bottlebrush white trees which I'll add behind those antique angels on the wall shelf. Got a little more done today! Should be done by Christmas, uh! LOL! Jeanne S.

Jeanne, glad to see your picture up. That's a neat shelf hanger under it. Did you and DH make it? I got a laugh out of 'somewhere in my stash of 'tubs,' I have some of those small bottle brush white trees.' Every night I pull in the garage and see all the Christmas totes it's like yea right. Where are all those elves hiding when I so desperately need them.LOL

Here's my BOP for this year. The tree is so large all I added is my deer.
I think I have a smaller purple tree but it hasn't come out from hiding yet.LOL
If it does, I may do some tweaking and repost.

When I found this little purple dress ornament couldn't resist and thought it
went well with my purple hat tree topper.

I was hoping to bring the veil down on the hat but didn't want to cover up my
little ornament under it.

Here's a closeup of the feathers on the hat and the picture on the ornament.

Hope others will continue to fill up this fun post. I had never heard of decorating the bop before coming here. I love telling others about it for a laugh. And to think
some think all we decorate is tables on Holidays.LOL They really should get out more often and check things out before being so vocal.

OMGosh, Punk...you just had to go make me drool over that purple tree didn't you!! WOW. That ornament you put in the wreath was certainly meant for this whole arrangement. Nice find on it.

Everyone's BOP decor is pretty and this is always one of the favorite things I like seeing each year. Who knew that BOP's could look so good!! I had no idea till I came to this forum. LOL.

Ok, so I did mine, and the little corner at the other end of the main bathroom. (the flash made some of the silver look gold. And I just realized I forgot to move the air freshner. Jeez. Well at least its blue too) I'm so sorry the photos came out so large, thought I'd resized them.

These are all so great. I've always loved putting a little "surprise" in the bathroom during holidays and dinner parties. I'll be climbing up to the rafters today and getting the bins down. Oh, how I hate that part. But love it when it's all done.

PM, I love all your blue! Wow, you do have some beautiful decor. The blue finial is gorgeous. Neat plate with your beautiful silver deer and tree. Am I seeing things or what is the picture displaying? I'm blown away by it.

Love your blue wall tree, blue santa and table vignette. It's all wonderful. This blue display should take the blues away. This reminds me I wanted to hang a wreath with a purple ribbon in our bath window. Love the look of a wreath hanging from ribbon and I've never tried this before.
