Is this email issue my web host's fault?

I have three domains and all are configured to forward emails (addressed to the domain) to my ISP's email address - then my ISP dumps them into my Windows mail inbox.

Several clients emailed me small Word files (and one sent a small Power Point) within the last week that I never received. The emails were addressed to (for example) me@domainname.com and should have forwarded to my ISP address and dumped into my Windows mail inbox.

Finally, I had one client send the email (with the small Word attachment) to my Yahoo address. I went to my Yahoo account and forwarded the email to my me@domainname.com address and sure enough -- it never came. BUT when I forwarded the email from my Yahoo account directly to my ISP address, it dumped into my Windows mail inbox within minutes. In other words, any emails with attachments from my Yahoo account that were routed through my web host's servers never showed up.

(If it helps, I do NOT have my domains OR my ISP filter my junk mail. Everything is delivered to my desktop and sorted there, and I always go through it just in case client emails are dumped there.)

Does this sound like my web host's fault? Can you think of another method of troubleshooting that would help me hone in on the issue?
