Thanksgiving/Fall Kitchen Decor (pic heavy)

Alot of you know I collect Jewel Tea 'Autumn Leaf' Hall China ... started almost 20 yrs ago when bought some plates & a few accessories @DH's parents' estate sale...I love this collection & here's a few from my china closet this morn:

Here's my kitchen counter to which I decorated last night... 'Autumn Leaf' tray, pitcher, coffee pot & sugar & creamer for Fall decor:

Across from the Jewl Tea is what I call 'countertop island' (actually it's a half wall between the staircase/living room/kitchen. Here's a turkey jar I've had a couple yrs now due to the Holiday 'instigator's on this forum! LOL! & the thrift shopping glass acorn jar is inspired from our own, 'luvs':

Other end is old set of turkey S&P shakers, gr'kids Fall pic gifted, & some porpouri I put tog:

Jeanne, all of your fall decor is wonderful. I'm always ready to see your Jewel Tea 'Autumn Leaf' Hall China collection. You have so many neat pieces. I sure wish the set I found this summer would of been priced more reasonable and I would of brought it home.LOL

The 'countertop island' is so prety all decorated and lit up. Is that a decorative bread loaf pan? Love that the napkins look like they belong to your Jewel Tea china.

Isn't it fun to have more turkeys, acorns, candles and Stuff to play with now? I think back and my decor was pretty lame years ago but I still loved it.haha Thanks for sharing.

punk...that bread pan is like glazed pottery (no markings) & the 'lid' has steam holes in it...I'm going to use it to soften a stick of butter & use on the table...it's a TS (thrift shop) find for $1 ...I had never seen one before...I had it on the walnut shelf above the buffet w/fruit plate & still life framed work. Thank you, GJers...hate to see gardening season end (hope some of our Australian friends will post their summer so we can dream!) ...how time flies...but Fall is such a pretty time of the yr ...so enjoying these couple days of Indian Summer! Marlene, I had my whole post done and tried to enlarge your last photo to see that incredible piece of furniture in the back ground and lost all of it! So I'll try again. Love all your fall/Halloween decor. It's nice that you added so many nice touches with the pumpkins, ghost, acorns, leaves, amber fairy light,etc. The bell jar is wonderful and thanks for the close ups. Both front and back porches look great all decorated. Your wire things are both so neat. It all looks great. I have an old wash tub but not sure I could make it look like yours. Love that you added birds, squirrels and even live kitties! Glad Karen sent you here to share your decor. So many nice added touches! Enjoyed seeing all of it. Punk

Thanks, Holiday-ers! Appreciate all your gracious comments. PM...the corkscrew willow branches are used alot around here...I use big ones to stake up toppling flowers & just love the look of them...our son trims his trees alot so we take bunches to FMrkt, too...I use around bird feeders & such for them to perch. We have a couple planted here & they are fast growers! punk...bet your gourds did cross...love those bumpy ones, too... loved them on your t'scape centerpc! I like that bunny, too...his coloring is good for the Baker's rack. candy...~~blush~~thank you...& hope you try your B'Rack outdoors! jane...you make me smile...love 'enablers' on this forum! It's never too late to start a new collection, ya know! ;-) My pine greens keep ok outside for the Winter...I guess just cause of the coolness & later the ice & snow! (ugh) I use solar lights outside in the Winter, too...in a galvanized washtub near the birdfdr off the porch...they seem to do ok in the cold. nana...thank you...love to hear your comments! Jeanne S.

Jeanne, I really look forward to seeing dollbaby each season in her new attire. That little hat you made is so darn cute on her--what a talented lady you are. What amazes me most is that you always have just the perfect little dish or cup and some kind of little "toy" additon for her. How wonderful that you still have your little shoes and they work on dollbaby! Just so cute and too much fun. ;o) Your buffet decor with the turkey and wire cloche, your elegant looking pumpkin, the lighted branches and all your wonderful little birds just add such a nice warm homey feeling to your decor. Jeanne, everything looks so pretty. I really like your Jewel Tea china collection.
It brings back memories of years gone by.
I love how you decorated the counter top. The turkeys look proud to be featured.
The thrift shop napkins are perfect for this display.
The bread pan is very interesting, love it.
The picture the kids is the crowning touch!

Your collection is AMAZING! You have so many of the "extra" pieces.
I have one bowl and I always make sure it's somewhere on my Thanksgiving table.

That picture has got my wheels turning. I need one too. I'll have to round up my four and put something together.

P.S. The bouquets that the angels are holding blend so well with the Jewel Tea colors. Sweet idea to place them together.

...I used to own just 1 turkey platter...now I own 2...I wonder who instigated that TS buy!...& they're not out of the cupboard yet!
