Thanksgiving/Fall Kitchen Decor (pic heavy)

Alot of you know I collect Jewel Tea 'Autumn Leaf' Hall China ... started almost 20 yrs ago when bought some plates & a few accessories @DH's parents' estate sale...I love this collection & here's a few from my china closet this morn:

The Willow Angels have been gifts over the yrs:

Here's my kitchen counter to which I decorated last night... 'Autumn Leaf' tray, pitcher, coffee pot & sugar & creamer for Fall decor:

Across from the Jewl Tea is what I call 'countertop island' (actually it's a half wall between the staircase/living room/kitchen. Here's a turkey jar I've had a couple yrs now due to the Holiday 'instigator's on this forum! LOL! & the thrift shopping glass acorn jar is inspired from our own, 'luvs':

Other end is old set of turkey S&P shakers, gr'kids Fall pic gifted, & some porpouri I put tog:

Jeanne, all of your fall decor is wonderful. I'm always ready to see your Jewel Tea 'Autumn Leaf' Hall China collection. You have so many neat pieces. I sure wish the set I found this summer would of been priced more reasonable and I would of brought it home.LOL

The 'countertop island' is so prety all decorated and lit up. Is that a decorative bread loaf pan? Love that the napkins look like they belong to your Jewel Tea china.

Isn't it fun to have more turkeys, acorns, candles and Stuff to play with now? I think back and my decor was pretty lame years ago but I still loved it.haha Thanks for sharing.

punk...that bread pan is like glazed pottery (no markings) & the 'lid' has steam holes in it...I'm going to use it to soften a stick of butter & use on the table...it's a TS (thrift shop) find for $1 ...I had never seen one before...I had it on the walnut shelf above the buffet w/fruit plate & still life framed work. Thank you, GJers...hate to see gardening season end (hope some of our Australian friends will post their summer so we can dream!) ...how time flies...but Fall is such a pretty time of the yr ...so enjoying these couple days of Indian Summer! melvalena... so glad you got 'inspired' to make your little basket...that's what I love about this site, everyone has so much to offer. Everytime I see what someone has done here, it gets my creative juices flowing !! lol Hey, even if you put that little display in the Bathroom it would work. Let me know where you put it and MOST of all, post a Picture...we love pictures, and your picture might inspire someone else! Mo..thank you, and yes, Please Post Pictures!! We're waiting on you. Your tablescapes are always so cretive and enjoyable. Just like I told Melvalena...YOU might inspire someone too. Also, about the tureens...it's NEVER too late to collect them. There everywhere I go, and the problem with that, is trying NOT to buy them. It's like when I was collecting Teddy Bears...everyone I saw, called to me, to take them home!! LOL jane

Jeanne, nice job on all this! I agree with all the above comments. Your kitchen counter pics with candles lit are wonderful. So many neat items displayed on this post. I have an old covered cake plate that I'll have to share sometime. Not as fancy as yours but kinda neat. Seeing yours reminded me of it. I had to laugh about lowering the shelf. I seem to do things like this alot. Once it's started, there's no turning back. I think you will enjoy a whole new way of decorating it. Your DH's leaves are neat and I like all your white pumpkins on the divider. I so need new flooring but can't seem to getter done. Not positive what I want is the main reason tho. I love hardwood but know I still want carpet in our living rooms. DS is great at laying tile and his home is beautiful. I'd rather vac. so..... Punk

Jane, #1 is as lovely as #2. You have so many neat turkeys! I really like your white hutch with all the colors you used. So many lovely things. The Pilgrim couple was a great find. I'm ROTFLMBO that the other lady had a broken foot so DH gave her a new one! If I didn't know that your DH's great at woodworking I might wonder if someone else only has one foot now!teehee Love Mr Brown and he does look Grand! You will crack up when you see my Mr Brown when I post my ts. I will keep hunting and try to console myself by believing 'Good Things Come To Those Who Wait'.haha It must be almost overwhelming knowing you are decorating for fall and have so much company coming for a Christmas get together soon after TG. Hope you know we love seeing all of this so it's time well spent! Besides you have to much beautiful fall decor to not share. Do take care of yourself tho. Punk

Jeanne, everything looks so pretty. I really like your Jewel Tea china collection.
It brings back memories of years gone by.
I love how you decorated the counter top. The turkeys look proud to be featured.
The thrift shop napkins are perfect for this display.
The bread pan is very interesting, love it.
The picture the kids is the crowning touch!

Your collection is AMAZING! You have so many of the "extra" pieces.
I have one bowl and I always make sure it's somewhere on my Thanksgiving table.

That picture has got my wheels turning. I need one too. I'll have to round up my four and put something together.

P.S. The bouquets that the angels are holding blend so well with the Jewel Tea colors. Sweet idea to place them together.

warm feeling it creates just looking at it.

...I used to own just 1 turkey platter...now I own 2...I wonder who instigated that TS buy!...& they're not out of the cupboard yet!
