You guys are causing some tears...happy tears...saying I'm an inspiration. Wow. I was looking behind me to see WHO you were talking to. LOL. I honestly don't feel very inspiring. Jane, I seem to stay feeling 'overwhelmed' so sure understand what you are going thru. This darn Fibro makes it a challenge to just get out of bed in the morning, and then you START each day with that feeling of total exhaustion and all you did was get up! The gals here who also have Fibro know exactly what I'm talking about. In my case, if I think about doing something then the feeling overwhelmed hits before I even start. I have to remember the old Nike slogan of JUST DO IT. (no thinking is best for me). As for my fairy garden, Jane, it did take me weeks. Had to talk myself into moving all the flagstone to the other end of the porch. Tho good excuse to wash and clean stuff really good. I'm still not done setting up the new F.G. and only got the one mini done so far. Then I procrastinated quite some time about spray painting the Baker's Rack as it needed a new coat. Finally late one night I put it in the yard and did it, then next day got it decorated for Fall. But trust me, I was definitely NOT quick about any of this. LOL. Oh, late this afternoon I FOUND the missing Fall bin!!! I'll tell you about that little episode in the other post "did you ever have one of those days". Am waiting for camera battery to charge to show you a photo. LOL. But I'm thinking maybe it would have better if I had NOT found it! hugs, Karen

PM...the corkscrew willow branches are used alot around here...I use big ones to stake up toppling flowers & just love the look of them...our son trims his trees alot so we take bunches to FMrkt, too...I use around bird feeders & such for them to perch. We have a couple planted here & they are fast growers! punk...bet your gourds did cross...love those bumpy ones, too... loved them on your t'scape centerpc! I like that bunny, too...his coloring is good for the Baker's rack. candy...~~blush~~thank you...& hope you try your B'Rack outdoors! jane...you make me smile...love 'enablers' on this forum! It's never too late to start a new collection, ya know! ;-) My pine greens keep ok outside for the Winter...I guess just cause of the coolness & later the ice & snow! (ugh) I use solar lights outside in the Winter, too...in a galvanized washtub near the birdfdr off the porch...they seem to do ok in the cold. nana...thank you...love to hear your comments! Thanks, OA ...that was a real pain in the rear to do each pic!!! Went back to the 'old' PBkt...hope it just stays around as my pics 'download' automatically to the right size I want to share as an HTML file. Here's a centerpc I'm working on for my round mesh top table on the patio... old canning jars in a 'canner rack' ...zinc lids on the the surrounding jars filling with pinecones, Buckeyes from our tree, rose hip, cinnamon sticks & that sort of thing...the center old jar has a solar lid I made a couple yrs ago & it's still going strong in all weather! Cold & wet here so must wait a bit to collect some more goodies for the jars! I'll be able to 'wire down' in a couple places ...the canner rack to the mesh table ...so wind shouldn't hurt anything...problem will have trouble w/moisture collecting inside & maybe breaking a jar...giving it a go this yr!

Thanks for commenting... lynnenc, ladypat, candy, kathleen, janet, jane, magpie, purplemoon... I agree, there is such beauty in "pines" ...& it is always fun to decorate with them. Outside on this patio they stay green for a long, long time. And the "old stuff" just seems to blend in so well with the natural elements. My bakers rack has weathered well outdoors for quite a few yrs & it's kind of in a protected corner area from wind..which we get alot of here. So, go for it, if you find a baker's rack $$$ BARGAIN! Thanks for the kind "pics" comments...I use MS Digital Image Suite & often "soften" the edges (it's kind of like "framing" the pic) so that my eyes are drawn more to what I really want to see.
