Those .bak files that are showing up in the recycle bins

On another forum it was explained to me in this simple way : "When Outlook Express 'dbx' files are

compressed, in reality they are being recopied in a shorter format to

your hard-drive. After being sucessfully compressed, they are no longer

needed by your computer. So, the computer takes these original

regular length emails, changes their designation to 'bak' and like all

unnecessary garbage dumps them in the recycle bin, for you to

permanently delete." As I understand, it is happening to us because of some update that has been placed on our computers.
