I truly appreciate all your help mikie!It is so difficult for me to explain exactly what is going on.I only know computer basics and just enough terminology to be confusing. LOL Currently,I am connecting to the internet by going to Earthlink.net and clicking on the set up button. I am accessing my e-mail through Earthlink.net, too. That is the only way I can connect to webpages.I can no longer connect using on desktop icons or by going to internet connections. The problem started when I allowed a Belkin auto setup to program my wireless router to my computer. Even if I disconnect the router and try to connect the way I did before the router I still can not connect through my computer. The only reason I mentioned proxy server was that when earthlink had me join teamviewer4, teamviewer4 stated I was on a proxy server and that I needed to connect with my computer connection. I am basing my statement on that info. I may not be on a proxy server. Is connecting through Earthlink.net connecting to a proxy server? I have not called earthlink back yet as the tech seems to get frustrated with my problem before it can be corrected. Also, it is a minimum 1 hour call each time.

I will try to clarify the problem. My computer is the one wired to the internet through the cable modem.I refer to this computer as No.1 computer. Wireless computers are two Laptops, both belong to daughter. Laptop 1 is HP and has wireless capability, little Acer laptop2 is daughter's also but her 9 year old son has use of it. Laptop 2 has wireless capability. The computer in bedroom is a desktop2 that is the one not connecting. There was a network cable run through the attic and dropped down to the bedroom and connects to the PC in bedroom.Previously it was connecting via the router that died earlier in the week. My husband and oldest son use the Desktop2 in bedroom.

What kind of circle jig? Is it the one that pivots the entire router around a fixed center point, like for cutting round table tops? The only time you need to have the router bit perfectly centered in the base plate is when using a guide bushing to trace a jig, like cutting dovetails. I center it visually during setup. Put the guide bushing on the base plate and the base plate loosely on the router base. Insert the router bit through the guide bushing and into the router collet and tighten. With the bit tight in the router, you can visually center the base plate by looking at the tiny gap between the bushing and bit.
