We did a gut on our home including 5 full baths and 1 half bath. I ordered all our faucets and toilets, several sinks and even a vanity and mirrors from Studio 41. They were cheaper on everything, including online sources, and free delivery too. Since it was such a large job, it took me several months to make all my decisions. And then there were several things I needed at the last minute. Studio 41 was great and sent the items Next Day Delivery and again no charge. I had to return a faucet as it just was not working out and no problem with the return. Andrea is the plumbing designer and she was wonderful. I live in Barrington Hills and both Insignia and Bath of Barrington are too darn expensive and...well the sales people were not very cooperative either. Michelle

That blue Seneca tile is beyond gorgeous! We are going with Calacatta Gold subways for our kitchen backsplash, but I am dying to go with a handmade ceramic on my fireplace or possibly my bathroom backsplash or SOMEWHERE in my house or patio ;) Thank you so much for sharing the photos of your beautiful kitchen. I also love color. If it were only up to me I would pick a beautiful Talavera/Mexican type of tile or one of the cool ceramic tiles that we see so much of nowadays. They are very popular here in California. My husband is much more conservative, so finding a compromise can be challenging. I love that that there are so many choices so everyone can have what she/he enjoys.

Neat! I would love to see this in a kitchen! I will have to look it up online. Knotty alder is really popular in our area right now for wood cabinets and polished concrete. I like the look of the alder but heard it was more prone to dents because it is a softer hardwood.
