Michelle, is the paper towel holder brushed stainless, or shiny?
I've been looking for one in a brushed stainless look...Can't find one I like, or want to pay for.

Love the partridge, but thought it was a rooster--are you sure it's a partridge? That's a great shape on the pitcher, and I really like those colorful plates too. All great stuff, and so fun to find things you'd forgotten about. Imagine you are tired of the house being torn up by now, and just counting the days until it can all be put back together--bigger and better than ever? Thanks for sharing the pic of your goodies. Terri, it's brushed stainless and I just love it. It is very heavy and has a soft bottom so stays in place and you can 'one-hand' pull a towel and tear it off and the holder stays put. Worth every penny I paid and then some.

I've looked at paper towel holders for a while but most look nice but they move or tip over when you pull a towel and I knew this would not work out for us.

Here it is at Amazon.com for about the same price I paid. Actually cheaper as I had to pay sales tax. Free shipping on this too, if you have Amazon Prime, which I do.

Looks like Walmart has it too, but it is not exactly the same design.

Luvs, I thought it was a partridge because the curly-cue tail. Maybe I'm mistaken though, I'm not up on poultry...LOL!

Kathleen, I know I just bought the red roaster and I do love it. But you really can't roast a chicken with the lid on, it just does not roast as nicely. On the other hand the Revol is perfect and with the Revol I love the way you can pour off the dripping too. And btw, I also just bought a clay roaster, similar to a Romertopf.

Oh heck, they will probably have tons of Revols at either Homegoods or TMs for $19.99 in a month or 2.

Michelle, for some reason, maybe they won't have them at Home Goods. Greg from GB said Sur La Table said no longer available. But who knows, I have only been in Home Goods once. It is far from here. Keep your eyes open. I;d drive an hour to get them. For 20 bucks they would make a great hostess gift or what ever.
For those who don't know what we are talking about, it is a porcelain chicken roaster that everyone seems to love. Here's a pic... BTW, they are 35 now in the Mik outlet, but some places are asking as much as 50 or so..

On the radio I heard it was only 6 wks until Thanksgiving and I've not even given it a second thought..until today.

Returned the wire partridge as the white with gold accents just was not working out in my house and bought these......

A huge ceramic turkey for my island and a cute turkey serving dish.

Oh I like your trade off and the two turkeys, they are wonderful. The wire chicken-partridge was cute but these are much neater items I think.
