Oh my-- you got such a great deal on so many!

I did end up thrifting a bag of pink ornaments last weekend. They're lovely-- pink shapes in sort of a teardrop-onion look, with lots of Victorian fringe and trims glued to them. Not as good a deal as you got, Dreamgoddess-- mine were 6 for $1.50. But still not bad.

I will have to check out Big Lots! Thanks!

I gave a pink tree and pink goodies to a friend's little princess' baby's 1st birthday from Hobby Lobby - they had some pink stuff - got her a tierra(sp?) for the top - pink lights - their tree skirts were yucky so I used a pink boa.

Tammy, that sounds like a really cute tree! What a wonderful idea for a 1st birthday party.

Oh, dreamgodeess, thanks for posting the pink ornie info and picture, they are pretty, I shall go to my Big Lots this weekend to check it out! Pink is very difficult to find in ornaments these days!

I try to have pink as my predominate color on the tree - I have mostly old ornaments but a few newer ones...I have bought them at garage sales, antique stores (after Christmas sale) and eBay....also friends give them to me as gifts....I love the vintage ones and the ones that look vintage...I would buy the pink ones pictured above - love them!

Dream, that was a great find! What a bargain and they are sooo pretty. I love pink too, and have allot of it in my decor--but all my Christmas tree decorations are just accumulated ones and not in a real "theme". I can't wait to see your pretty tree this year. ;o)

Cattknap, your tree and decorations are gorgeous. Lots of pretty ornies on there. So fun when they are accumulated through the years and some have sentimental value because they are gifts from special people.

Thanks Luvs - you are right about collecting over the years....some of those ornaments are so fragile - I break 3 or 4 every year no matter how careful I am.

Dreamgoddess (love your name BTW), sometimes antique stores will put the little mica houses on sale after Christmas - I've bought a few that way. Also, buying them on eBay during non-prime months like May or June - sometimes you get a better day. The really nice ones can be very pricey and I try to stay away from those...I'm a bargain hunter.

Oh, I'm so happy to find other pink Christmas people! I don't have a picture of my tree but will post one after I put it up this year.

I cover my white tree branches with pink feather boas instead of garland and the main theme of my ornaments are dancing poodles (pink, white and black).

I've had this kind of tree for a few years so now have a good collection of ornaments but I'm looking for ideas for the mantle and stairway. Thinking of buying some more pink boas but I haven't gotten any good ideas beyond that.

Oh Cattknap, I LOVE your trees-- they really evoke such a vintage/timeless feel... Just wonderful to see, nice rich colors!

Looks really pretty in the picture, Jim. Imagine my surprise when I took a closer look and saw all the large feathers on there! Like that they wrapped all the presents to match.

Lovely pink tree, Karen. I'm noticing that the ones I really like are the ones that are just loaded with ornaments and such. Figures--more is, well, MORE. LOL Cute Santa too.

Same here, Luvs. I wish I could get a tree to look like that but I'm afraid mine would just look junky somehow.

Dang PINK stuff is really growing on me, these Xmas photos are awfully pretty!!!!
