Pat, If you are offering to pollenate Giraffe x h. papilio or any of your lovelies pictures above..please do and if you are successful and would wish to part with a few seeds, I'd be more than happy to grow some on..:-) I pollenated 3 flowers of my Giraffe and nothing took..in fact..my bulb looks like its dying!! Originally, I had 2 bulbs planted in the same pot..one did splendidly and the other looked bad. Last fall, I pulled them out of the pot and one has a nasty NFB larvae that had eaten out most of the inside..the other looked really good, had about 10 small bulblets attached and so I replanted that one and obviously I either missed another maggot or it just didn't like being taken out of the pot! I'll wait a bit longer before I take another peek, but I'm not optimistic. If wouldn't be so bad when you loose these bulbs and they are still available.. if you though that when you ordered another you wouldn't get a mislabel.. Again and Again!! I do remember your posting some of those gorgeous pictures above.. definitly the one with the extra petal..the first and last are my favorites, do you remember by chance what you used with papilio to get these? I also seem to remember (I think) that you might have had a cross with Red Lion?? If you ever had extra bulblet of any of your Papilio crosses that you no longer want (..dreaming..) I would be deliriously happy to pay all expenses for a first class one way ticket to Ma!! Thanks for posting these beauties again.. Donna

It'll probably be the same. I'm hoping that in CCleaner under Tools/ Startup, you'll be able to spot any programs that you don't need running at startup and delete those entries. Bacisally all you really need are your anti-virus and firewall. There are more advanced things a person can do like using the System Configuration Utility by clicking your start button/ run/ and type msconfig and choose Selective Startup and uncheck load startup items or Diagnostic Startup, but for now, might as well keep it simple. If you haven't had this problem for very long, possibly a system restore to an earlier time would fix this. Does the error mention anything about "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error. The problem could be something as simple as google toolbar or yahoo toolbar if you have either.

Lots of things can cause that stop error memory problem is one, a video driver is another, your Anti virus software could also cause this, sometimes this stop error occurs after installing service pact2 for xp and a Trojan can cause it so you see it is not always easy to narrow down and quite a bit of trouble shooting is sometimes required, If the unit is under warranty I would take it in, if not you can do some trouble shooting starting with a virus or malware scan please run Malwarebytes in the link below it is important you post a log from malwarebytes in your next reply. Could you answer these questions please: What operating system are you using xp service2 or 3? and or vista service pack1. Please tell me the name of your Anti Virus program that you use, Norton, McAffee, AVG, Avast or something else. Please answer the questions and post a log from Malwarebytes Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop. * Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program. * At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. * Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan. * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. * When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt Here is a link that might be useful: malwarebytes

It looks like an asparagus fern (which is really a member of the Lily family). If there's no other plant nearby that could be dropping sap onto the 'leaves' then - well, I'd be suspicious and get some just-warm water and a paper towel and sponge it off. I'd be looking for small creatures along the stems or under the leaves, too. Quickest remedy is - squish. I'd also ease up on the watering over winter.
