What does all this mean?

I just had another BSOD. The laptop was sitting idle, no programs open, just at the desktop. Was on the phone when I looked over and *POOF* BSOD land. Here is what the screen showed:

Lots of things can cause that stop error memory problem is one, a video driver is another, your Anti virus software could also cause this, sometimes this stop error occurs after installing service pact2 for xp and a Trojan can cause it so you see it is not always easy to narrow down and quite a bit of trouble shooting is sometimes required, If the unit is under warranty I would take it in, if not you can do some trouble shooting starting with a virus or malware scan please run Malwarebytes in the link below it is important you post a log from malwarebytes in your next reply.

Could you answer these questions please:

What operating system are you using xp service2 or 3? and or vista service pack1.

Please tell me the name of your Anti Virus program that you use, Norton, McAffee, AVG, Avast or something else.

Please answer the questions and post a log from Malwarebytes

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt

Hi zep516 and thank you for responding. Here are the answers to your questions:

OS: Windows Vista SP1
AntiVirus: McAfee Security Suite

Ran a full scan of Malwarebytes........it showed nothing. See log below. I just ran this yesterday and same thing, nothing showed up.
SuperAntiSpyware was also run yesterday, caught some adware which was removed. Nothing else
McAfee run yesterday also, logs show nothing.

Display only means they got it - ain't sellin' any. I think you can buy any ones you want in your zone,some do better than others in any of the zones. They need 6+ hrs of sun, and need water supplement the first year to get established,then really just when it gets dry. They are pretty tough. I can't provide a very extensive answer, but in a nut shell an easment gives a 'right' [hence, right-of-way] to a specific entity for a specific use-- for instance, a utility company easement gives them the right to build and maintain lines, but not to host a company picnic. If the pool deck were over a power line easment, the power company could destroy it to fix/expand the line. If it were on an access easement, it would have to go if it interfeared with people's access. If there is a recorded easement here, there should be some specifics: how wide, who owns the easement and for what purpose, etc. Anything interfearing with this purpose is in violation, and may have to be removed at the homeowner's expense, and the homeowner would not need to be compensated. To cover their own exposure, the owner of the easment would need to keep any damages resonable, and do their best to mitigate them by [for instance] not removing a tree if they could acheive their goals by pruning it. So a lot depends on the language granting this easement. If the fence is on your property line, the easment probably allows you and the neighbor to maintain the fence, even if it means stepping over the actual line. But you probably can't get the pool deck removed unless or until it impacts that maintenence. It would be an issue for the courts, not the city bureaucrats. But there may be separate regulations about structural setbacks that would give you a bit more leverage. I have to admit, it would really bug me for the neighbor to have a deck beside this sort of fence if it gives them an eagle eye veiw into my yard. I might have to give them a bit of a show from time to time, just to discourage them from looking.

A convection oven circulates hot air around with fans. My oven does not have convection, but I cook in my friend's oven with convection every week, and my mother's on occasion. My mother's is a Profile, actually. Most everything I cook comes out better and faster with convection, so convection is a must for my next oven. For example, I often make parmesan-crusted chicken, and it comes out crispier and tastier in my mother's Profile than in my 20-yo Whirlpool. (I will say this about my mother's Profile, though: I hate how a noisy fan runs for HOURS after using it.) Trivection combines regular radiant oven heat, convection, and microwaves to cook food faster. It sounds like a great idea. And I believe Alton Brown uses it, so it's worth checking out. You know how you don't heat certain things in the microwave because it ruins the texture? (or, I don't, anyway.) Well, wouldn't it be cool if the microwave was heating the water molecules on the inside really fast, while convection heat browned and crisped the outside as well? That's the idea. I have not used one, so I can't comment on performance from experience. I agree that I would not be inclined to use an oven to defrost. Doesn't sound like a safe idea to me, mode or not. I don't know what "proof bake" would be, but a proof mode would hold a nice low temp, like 90F, for proofing bread. What features matter to you depend on what you cook, and what you can envision cooking if you had the tool for it. For example, I would like a dehydrate mode; we could then make jerky without hauling the noisy dehydrator up from the garage to the deck. I would like an oven that gets as hot as possible. 550 even, for artisan breads. A lot of features are for speed or convenience, so you'll have to think about whether they would matter to you. For example, I saw a Frigidaire oven with a button marked "Chicken nuggets." Now maybe someone out there (with small children?) would find that button a huge convenience... One last tip, read the manual of each oven you are considering. The manual is the closest you can get to the real information of what it will be like to use the oven. There can be a lot of unpleasant surprises lurking in the manuals that were never mentioned in the marketing copy.

If you want low cost rental property cabinets that are KCMA certified, look at Aristokraft. Ikea will work too. I just don't think they've bothered with American certification programs since they aren't US based. They also have "legs" that sit the cabinets above the floor, which if you have water issues, means that only the plastic legs get wet, not the cabinets. But, if you've had repeated slab leaks in this home, it's time for a complete pipe replacement. Run the new pipes through the attic and insulate them. That's what a LOT of homes in this area have had to do because of pin hole leaks in copper. Copper in concrete wears away much faster than it does in the open air of a crawlspace. Most homes in this are have repiped with CPVC and washed their hands of the copper entirely because the jack up in prices made the CPVC about 1/4" the price in materials along. Not to mention the easier labor.

Ok here is the (technical information) and let me get back to you as it takes a bit of research,

The Stop 0x50 message indicates that requested data was not in memory. The system generates an exception error when using a reference to an invalid system memory address. Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM) or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause Stop 0x50 messages.

Also could you goole the stop error so you also have an idea of what we are dealing with but do not follow any instruction from Google "0x00000050"

Personally I would suspect your antivirus program and having had McAfee myself and knowing the issues it caused me it could well have been a bad update that caused something to corrupt. You could try an uninstall and then reinstall of your antivirus. Or if this started recently I would first try a system restore to a date before it happened that way if it was a bad update from McAfee or something that would get rid of it. and it is totally reversible.

Ravens right lets try a simple System restore first and see how that goes, Then we can look at the Anti virus software if needed.

I am so sorry I have not gotten back to ya'll. Life popped up and prevented me from doing anything further with this computer. Ya know what? I have not had any more problems but I strongly suspect Raven is correct, McAfee is probably the culprit. If I reach a point where I have actual time I will uninstall McAfee and go with something else. I was only using it because it was bundled with this system when I purchased it.........I got something like a 15 month subscription.

I am also going to call Dell again and will break down and pay for the extended tech support as I suspect there is more wrong with this thing.

What does all this mean?
